No more are the days of politicians assuring Americans our economy will "bounce back" after COVID-19. Now, the language is all about an economic "reset." Specifically, the World Economic Forum released its plans for a global reset, which includes a change in capitalism with a "focus to shift from short term and profit only to longer term, incorporating value creation for people and the planet." Hmm..

I keep hearing a voice saying we need to stop everything, so that we can catch our stride.

But..but..aren't we all 'stakeholders' in the global economy??? Why do I have to work for my share? BLM says we should all get everything free, oops that is Bernie that says it should all be free. I'm confusing my Soros puppets.

That's why I say, let's make sure, at least, they don't survive the end of this cycle...it would be nice for mankind, for once, to start over in the next cycle without them, without that complication.

As one of my friends remarked "It's going to get really ugly before it gets better." As a kid growing up in the fifties and sixties I didn't realize the science "fiction" movies were a result of time travel. Who knew?
The best policy for us is to become self sustaining as a nation. Given we have the opportunity to be energy exporters until 2050 we will be able to control our destiny. Bringing back production to our shores is job one.
Let the other countries wallow in their misery.

    Why am I not surprised?

It's things like this that make me wish for large natural disasters to come upon these people and blot them out of existence...

There are some who say we should just let these fools have their way, and watch things collapse into a worldwide depression, but the last time that happened we got WW II.
