The wisdom of Ayn Rand regarding altruism

It is very tempting to send money to support the Canadian truckers and other people/causes. With the crackdown by the Canadian finance minister and crowdfunding companies and the now ubiquitous equating of such donations to "supporting terrorism", now, more than ever, Ayn Rand's persistent bashing of altruism is more relevant than ever.

No good deed goes unpunished.

"Donating to a cause that represents your own rational self interest is a good thing". I used to think that. Given the "Great Reset" that this Canadian finance minister lit the fuse on, expect to see what is in the link below soon (courtesy of DOBrien's Warmup for Friday Funnies #21+): "I'm sorry, sir, but your card was denied due to your political views."

But it's not always that way...donating to a cause that represents your own rational self interest is a good thing.
In many cases, funding a worthy cause is preferable to having a government making that decision for you.
Protest causes are another story but haven't been a big problem until recently.

It is probably too late to remove money from a Canadian bank now. That would be construed as "not trusting your government". While Americans value “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” Canadians are said to prefer “peace, order, and good governance.” May I introduce you to Midas Mulligan?

The number of times economists are surprised makes me quite sure that I don't trust their economists or their economists' theories.

"Freezing" assets takes on a whole new meaning when we're talking about Canada in winter. Just sayin'. ;)

That being said, I hope that every single one of these people remove their money from the banks. Let's collapse a few and see how fast Trudeau's money train derails.

How dare we financially support those with whom we share common interests without the approval of a governmental third party!

" I am surprised how many time a trusted source lies and is still a trusted source." Indeed. However, I've seen it so often now it's hardly a surprise anymore.

From their point of view, anyone who has his/her own point of view is a wrongdoer. A contrarian point of view is anathema.

Projection is indeed the name of their game.

“Crackdown” sounds like getting tough on wrong doers. These humans have every right to protest the actions that directly have a negative U.N.fair tyranical Impact on them. Speaking of the NWO (that’s me of course) don’t be surprised when you see uN Blue helmets in the great white North. Re : crackdown Let’s Call it what it is , theft with the tip of a gun resting between their eyes. . Sure it was freezing or seizure of assets with a keyboard , same result.

Ayn Rand was truly amazing in her ability to tell an interesting and exciting story and educate the reader at the same time . She very clearly understood the damage altruism does to the productivity of a human and particularly a large group. I also have been awed by Milton Friedman , Norman Dodd , Ronald Reagan, G. Edward Griffith Rush Limbaugh and many participants in this very Gulch , with their ability to see the forest fire through the trees 🌲 🌳 so to speak. Poor analogy, but you know what I mean.

I am curious if anyone thinks Ayn went into the propaganda or brainwashing aspect of The kakistocrats? One of the mysteries that has been unraveling is the brainwashing. It’s effects can’t be overstated in my opinion. I am surprised how many time a trusted source lies and is still a trusted source. Never are the motivation of their lies to be examined.. Covid19 revealed that. It came from a spoiled bat meal at the “Wet Market”. Ha ,who ever heard of a wet market before , but spoke of atvevery water cooler . Then the next lie and the next. From my point of view , the narcissistic trait that we witness constantly from the Cabals minions is projection. Russia collusion was projection , the” insurrection”on J6 the same. Psychopathical liars that they are , so now we see them attacking “mis-information”. The media , Education , Hollywood , even Libraries have been steadily and well practiced lying to us and giving misinformation.Over and over and over. They know if you Take away a persons confidence and likely they will go with the crowd vs their own reasoning. People fear Bullying , in fact , though they claim and have convinced people they are the champion of the oppressed. The way they twist distort and pervert reality or definitions , oppressed: means a criminal who has been caught and sentenced. Heaven forbid that man is rehabilitated and produces pillows , jobs and a good nights sleep. Lol.
With that said thanks for the post and best of all The Qreat Awakening continues and the evil enemy is becoming fully exposed. Truth over propaganda and a well armed populace.
