Bikes Hurt People

I’m waiting for a ban on bicycles or at least stricter control on who can operate them. Clearly bikes are dangerous, most are unregistered, certain parts of town are teeming with “hot” bikes.
Recently an untrained, unregistered senior citizen-apparently differently abled, physically and cognitively impaired was injured. We need layers and layers and layers of crooked civil servants spending $ millions regulating honest bike riders. Clearly Schwinn, Trek , Canondale and all the other manufacturers need punished beyond any solvency.
Bikes, in the hands of idiots kill people.
Ban the Bike!

Yes! The same can be said for downhill skiers. I ski patrolled for fifteen years at a local resort. Countless rescues from the slopes. We need written and practical exams to determine eligibility to ski and snow board. All equipment and clothing must be government approved. Must have federal inspectors on site at all times to monitor and arrest offenders. And on and on>>>>>>>

It gets exciting around here at times. A guy ran into the Police Department (he'd been shot). Helicopters, even a small airplane and the Sheriff's Office, Highway Patrol and local PD finally tracked the guy down who shot him.. The shooter had just gotten out of prison. Guess he got a free ride back.

Well it is noteworthy they don't travel down the main street through town. Just the residences. The police don't patrol the streets they ride on. They're all over at the Donut shops getting free stuff.

Hey, now wait a minute!!! Do they have a government permit to sing or laugh, especially in public where someone may get offended?

Oh I totally agree with Deninis55. Bikes are too dangerous. I see 25 - 35 people every weekend touring our city on their weekly bike ride. Singing, laughing. They have an automobile escort in back of them, in front of them, and along each side of them. Very dangerous.
