My 5G phone, which I am about to return to the vendor, turns off my ringer without my help. Let's calls break thru when I am talking to someone. Keeps yammering a message when I try to turn it off after a call that didn't answer. It seems to have a mind of it's own. N

It's normal. You are logged in. Your browser is remembering your login. If you don't like this, just log out each time you're done. Then you have to log in.

My problem is that I seem to have been getting on the site , in a way, against the rules. Because usually, lately, it has not presented me with a form on which to sign my handle and my password, just putting me through anyhow. Now that might seem nice to some people, but it makes me wonder if something is going wrong with the site or the machine.

What do you mean? I know my password well enough. I have only one for Galt's Gulch Online. (of course, I have another one for my own email address, but I don't know why that would be relevant to this situation.)
