    They aren't elected -- they are selected. It is all controlled. We have very little (if any) say.

    In a representative government such as ours, politicians are a reflection of the majority of people they represent. I look at how many Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff keep getting elected to Congress and realize that it isn't just the politicians to blame, unfortunately.
