Is the same as mine :-)

A photo of mine is attached. I couldn't find an image of his, but you can see it in the scene where he is conspiring with Ken Danagger.

This is the first time I've seen one so similar to mine, which I designed for myself.

Thank heavens I'm not married to Lillian though, and hopefully my marriage will fare better than Hank's ;-)

It is not expensive to get married there. We omitted NY right off, and the Northern VA/DC area as well. Plus my dad's family and some of my mom's were still in PA. Older, etc.

Which part? My husband has friends near McLaren Vale. I know Australia is huge, but I thought I would ask :-) Btw, i like your necklace, and it looks like it has a Celtic knot, but it also looks a bit Norse in design.

Invitation are to make one feel obligated... the fancier the invite, the deeper the obligation. Repulsive. They scream "buy us gifts!!"

I do love a good cathedral, and despite being an atheist, the feeling of being inside one is very powerful.

I came to the same conclusion. The invitation to my brother's second engagement party was filed straight in the bin ;-)

What I can't understand is how these people can have any self respect at all. In my view, putting on a big fanfare to announce that you *intend* to get married is somewhat questionable ipso facto, but then to nonchalantly break it off a few months later as though the whole thing was little more than a holiday fling is just pathetic.

I'm in Australia, but those photos are from Europe. The first one is Merano in northern Italy, near the border of Austria. The second is Goslar, in the Harz Mountains in central Germany. And the third is Sans Souci Palace in Potsdam, near Berlin.

Sounds like a beautiful ring. Unfortunately the more ornate ones tend to be less durable, and gold is so soft that even plain rings wear pretty fast. The satin finish is almost completely gone from mine after only four years, and I spend most of my time sitting at a desk.

Simple simple. Don't like all that tacky flashy stuff. Lost's ring is just beautiful. Elegant, simple.
And I'm giving you a point, too. :-)

It depends on which part of the country you're in. The National Cathedral is in DC. its quite large, and its beautiful, but the chapel I was married in is like a lovely jewel box. It's also non-denominational. The only requirement to get married there is an affiliation with the Univ. of Pittsburgh. My mom went there, so I was able to get married there.

Wow...a Cathedral even. Funny note....Heinz is the last name of my maid of honor. ...weird.. Sadly she was found floating in a river last year.
