Duh...I was the first lady in my city's 100 year history to be elected to the City Council. I was appointed as chair of the Finance Committee and the Insurance committee. Taxes were not raised in those 3 years I served but we issued a bond issue to be repaid out of sales tax revenue of $15 million dollars to fix our streets. I fell on my beautiful in a snow storm in D.C. in February of one year but secured an $8 million dollar grant to upgrade our sewer system. Aren't you sorry you said woman voting was a mistake? nb

Maybe we should call for a Constitutional review and add the word 'women' to this just for safety's sake. We do have the vote now. I like the Amendment that reads "JUDGES OF THE SUPREME AND INFERIOR COURTS, SHALL HOLD THEIR OFFICES DURING TIMES OF GOOD BEHAVIOUR" These words should be printed on the podiums they sit at. They can all be impeached...nothing says they are elected for life! In legalese 'Shall' is mandatory.
