Friday the 13th is usually a lucky day for me, when I was young, I decided to make it so . . .

    Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire

By the way which one is Pink. Lol

...then on day you find, 50 years has gone behind you,
No one told you when to run,
You had missed the starting gun....

Wish I had known then, what I know now.

Hairless Elmo is a new one, and I kinda like Taco Belle. She looks nice and warm from my current perch in rainy, windy and cold Vienna. 🥶

Ten years after is now 60 years after.🎶 Everywhere is freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies, tell me, where is sanity?
Tax the rich, feed the poor
'Til there are no rich no more
I'd love to change the world🎶

SNL was worth getting to a tv while out and about on Saturday night in the 70's
(in spite of their leftist bias that they frequently exposed.)
Unfortunately, it hasn't been worth watching since then, but in the 70's SNL was addicting.
I remember being bored in a bar at the end of a Saturday of fun (attending a college football game and after parties.)
We decided at 11pm that we'd walk home about 1.5 miles so we could see SNL. We got halfway and discovered
that the bridge across the river was under repair and the roadway had been removed. Only the steel side
structure remained. Undeterred, we "monkey-barred" our way across ignoring the raging rapids below.
Fortunately for us, Chevy's opening was the only "fall" that night.

    "Candygram!"
I recall the land shark saying that.
    The questions are~~
How many times did Land Shark say that?
    Did I miss any?

I also love the CSNJ meme. And I'll confess...it took me about 5 minutes to get the two guys on the island. Then I gave myself a dope slap. Thanks, OUC, for another great set.

Saturday Night Live debuted during my first year away at college. We would have SNL watch parties every Saturday night. So much comedic genius on that show.

Extremely busy today, but HAD to check in on TGIFfunnies in the Gulch. As usual, definitely not disappointed with wisdom and mirth put up for our benefit! THANK YOU, OUC, for the best part of my day! [could use an R2Bier2 dispenser right about now!]

The Monkees shouldn't have red spots, Easy to cover up. The mother of Monkees guitarist Michael Nesmith, Bette Nesmith Graham, was the inventor of Mistake Out, later renamed Liquid Paper. A few dabs would cover typewriting errors and Monkee Pox.

Very punny OUC! Loved them all and loved the memories they brought back! My Dad had a Nash Metropolitan that freaked out our new neighbors when we exited the miniscule car one by one, all on the side the neighbors were---all 7 of us. They asked Dad if he'd stowed a few of us in the trunk. Never had a Commodor. My first computer was a Texas Instruments job.Monkeypox, R2, they just keep on coming! Thanks for a great start to Friday :)

Me dino was laughing it up watching "the not ready for prime time players" in meme #1 meself still single as a newspaper reporter in my late 20s during the 70s when I wasn't taking a Saturday night date to a disco either in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa. Yes, they had discos in at least those two sizable Alabama cities. Maybe that's because I didn't know where any square dances were.
Got a laugh out of Tinkerbell's cousin. I was a kid when I saw this scene but I saw it in black and white~~
    ~~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6IKa...
I also remember that I did not clap. You see, I was at least old enough not to believe that blinking light was Tinkerbell.
Guess my train of thought of Mary Martin playing Peter Pan made the smoker among Pencil Lead Zeppelin remind me when I was a kid on a bike.
That's how I bought my first pack of cigarettes from a coin operated machine set just outside of a gas station. Yeah, I'm also old enough to remember just how I heard the jingle sang on radio and TV~~
"Winston tastes good like a cigarette should.
Winston tastes good like--a cigarette should."
Not sure but methinks my first pack had to be Winston.
Knew thought! As a teenager I learned by trail and error that a lit Winston with a filter broke off made a great time fuse for a cherry bomb or a M80.
Marlboro time fuses went out. You just can't scare people when a smoke's time fuse burns out.
