Here crooked politicians who call other people crooked to divert attention from themselves reminds me of crooked correctional officers who did the same thing when I worked at a state maximum security prison for 21 years.
I once heard and Officer named Bell call another officer a crook. The very next day Officer Bell was caught bringing in marihuana to inmates.
An ICS (Inmate Control Systems) Officer Washington got caught taking money from parents so Inmate sonny boy could be assigned a cushy job at the prison.
Just before he got caught he spread it around and even told a deputy warden I would lose it and do something bad to inmates because I was going through a divorce which I was.
I had the pleasure of seeing the top warden and two state detectives escorting a a handcuffed Officer Washington as fate allowed me to be coming the other way. Me dino even smiled and said "Good morning, sir," to the warden as I passed by. Ooooo, that felt so good!
Later I learned that Inmate Washington had been into other crooked stuff and is now serving life without parole. If he still lives up until now.
That prison averaged one officer being arrested and taken to the county jail about every 2 or 3 years. Two who were caught having homo sex with an inmate only got fired. Also fired were a male and a female officer who were caught having sex in a cubicle overlooking two dorms after they failed to notice an inmate fight that broke out. Only one person was supposed to be in that cube anyways.
