There are procedures to follow, but this appears to be Guilty until Proven Innocent by the IRS.

$5Au is curious that the IRS is involved. Shouldn't this be a FBI matter? And why was the bank giving info to the IRS when not required to?

When and if she is found to be innocent will the IRS pay the interest on her credit cards and make up for any other losses... be sued for emotional distress? Will the guilty parties be punished. fined, imprisoned? This is a common, big problem. Why are government agents shielded when average citizens are not. Didn't we fight a war of independence and set up a system where all would be equal under the law... that there would be no kings or royalty? Much abuse would be avoided if individuals were held accountable regardless of station.

The IRS is out of control. I remember Obama saying there was no evidence of this but it is obvious. If ObamaCare is ever fully implemented it will increase the size and authority of the IRS. That is very dangerous.
