Ideas are Scary

I love the new GE commercial about how ideas are scary, which is the first video in the link. I was surprised that they actually made such a commercial featuring the little alien looking creature being ridiculed for being new, and different--and threatening. It was a lot of Atlas Shrugged from a company that I thought had sold its soul to big government. But, after just a bit of investigation, only 5% of their business is in government contracts. It seems like the giant is trying to get back to its roots. Regardless, I thought the commercial was remarkably effective.

Not my style of cutsie preachy propaganda.
GE loves new tech, if they own it.
Otherwise crush the inventor until he is so broke he will sell it for a song.
    Looters.

Did you look at how much GE spends on political consultants, lobbyists, and 'donations'? How much of their business has been government assisted against competition?
Talk is cheap. Looters often advertise that they are not looters.

Really? Maybe on something other than a mobile device. I don't see any edit menu for that. I'll check for it in a bit.
