I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch...I read Atlas Shrugged a long time ago and loved it, seen the movie parts 1&2, and been on the mailing list for a long time. Still figuring out how to navigate the marketplace site.

    Thanks guys. I do feel at home here and have absorbed a lot from the links and am often impressed with the excellent posts from your core group. I've been a Rand fan for a couple decades and tune in here daily for brief periods to see what the topics are for the day, but I own a farm and work outside most of the time so I can't sit in for long discussions. I will try to stick to an objectivist angle when I am able to comment in the future.

    I am interested in ideas for educating and re-establishing objectivist principles that I believe the Founders intended in the Constitution, but working within the current system seems rather futile at this point in time. Unfortunately, if/when the SHTF, I will shelter in place since our roots (8 generations) are sunk deep in this beautiful land and it's worth trying to hang onto.

    Welcome. currently we have a number of discussions in progress, politics is high on the list for a number of reasons but our main thrust is objectivism. lots of resources if you are unsure just ask.
