I would like to start with "I do by solemnly sware that I will never live my life for the sake of any man, nor will I ever ask another to live his life for mine".
My name is JD Matthew, I am an over the road truck driver. I currently live in Texas. I am one of those odd balls that think that we would be much better off if The Constitution of the United States were still the law of the land.

    Hello jdmatthew,
I understand. I lived for a while in OK. in the panhandle area. I met a lot of wonderful people from OK. as well as Texas. I am back in Mi. and from here they both look mighty fine. One does not expect such difficulty with the second amendment from Texas... Hopefully this will change for the better.
    Regards,
    O.A.

O.A., Don't get me wrong, but Texas is not the bastion of Liberty that many think it is. Several other states rank much higher on the rating of Personal Liberty with New Hampshire still ranking #1. Wyoming and Oklahoma also rank higher. I have been trying for almost a year now to get The State of Texas to allow me to exercise my right to bear arms off of my private property. Even the State of Kansas does not mandate that citizens beg for permission to exercise there inalienable right to defend themselves.

Welcome, JD. You are not an oddball. You are the backbone of this nation, and I am proud to say that I think as you do.

    Greetings jdmatthew,
The Constitution... You are not an odd ball. You are a patriot. Sometimes I wish I was a Texan. :)
    Respectfully,
    O.A.
