I'm less interested in how Trump conducts a meeting, than what kind of "deals" occur in those meetings.

Christie's a big fart bag. I never liked the guy. A few years back he yelled to a lady protester in the back of a room "Oh, you'll be on your knees later tonight, honey." Or something along those lines. Not a peep from the media about that. For me, that sealed the deal on that big, fat donut-eater.

Ramos is not a journalist, but an activist. As such, he has no place in the forum in which he so rudely interrupted the person who was actually called upon. Trump handled it well. By letting him back in later,Trump showed greater courtesy than was even necessary.

I have seen Jorge Ramos interviewed many times. All he does is act rude and filibuster. Once started, like so many leftists, he is obnoxious, dismissive of any other point of view and oblivious to contrary facts, the rule of law or basic decorum. When he was allowed back in he was granted more time and patience than deserved.

I agree, I think Trump will be transparent by his honest conversation with the public... not because some focus group told him it's a good buzz word to get votes with.

In my opinion, the incredible levels of unemployment of the millennial generation, their ability to start their lives, or move up the economic ladder has nothing to do with the 'great recession' - it's because of the millions of illegal immigrants taking entry level jobs that teenagers used to be hired for.

When I was a kid, it took a cast of thousands to operate a McDonalds, now they have a couple of dozen 30-year old illegals.

Consequently, the youngsters have a hard time getting that first job, and have to put off any kind of employment until graduating from college / etc. practically.

I started working when I was 15, I've probably been unemployed 10 days out of the last 30 years. It's definitely been more of a struggle for my son, and he's an extremely hard worker, respectful, and dedicated when given the opportunity. The small businesses just don't want to be bothered with working around a school schedule, etc., when they don't have to.

We've really stunted the development of the largest generation in US history (it's larger than the Baby Boomers actually).

He looked very presidential actually, if that was in the White House Press Briefing Room, no sitting president would tolerate the level of disrespect that Ramos showed toward him.

I'd start with deporting Ramos.

I was very impressed, Ramos was being an asshole, there were 30+ people in the room, and Trump was calling on them in an orderly fashion. Let's be honest, Fox/CNN/CNBC are going to have more eligible voters than Univision, so I'd probably start there too.. nonetheless, he just asked security to escort him out, and allowed the guy to come back in when he had calmed down.

If there was 'nothing to be afraid of', people wouldn't be panicked, but if you have been in the US for, say, 30 years - working, not paying taxes, not really contributing or assimilating and haven't bother to apply for permanent residency, why not deport them? Mexico for example doesn't allow non-Mexican citizens to own property, so to become a US citizen means to renounce Mexican citizenship and give up their lands/home, etc. So they try to have it both ways - by keeping Mexican citizenship and privileges, while taking advantage of the US economy and our generosity. We wouldn't be doing ANYTHING that any other country doesn't do. Try to buy a house to retire as an ex-pat in Mexico... it doesn't happen... you can LEASE something, but you can't buy it.

Try (as a white American) to go to Canada and just squat there somewhere, get a job, buy a house, etc.. it doesn't happen, you have to apply for residency/citizenship, prove you are in good health by 2 back-to-back annual medical evaluations paid for out of your own pocket, prove you have at least $200,000 in liquid assets, prove you can obtain employment, etc.

We're the only dumbies in the world that just let people come in waves.

We're also a nation of immigrants, and we need to uphold that tradition, and I think immigrants contribute immensely to our culture. But... they need to immigrate legally.

Donald is probably right, most -legal- immigrants can't stand the line cutters that just swim / jump / run across the border... when it comes time to actually vote and not answer a pollster on the telephone, he will probably carry the 'legal voting' latino vote.

I worry more about other things when it comes to Trump. I have no problem with him ripping away the political correctness in situations or being brash when others would be duplicitous and disingenuous with their words.

We need Trump in the white house to tell us when the emperor has no clothes, when there are no WMD's in Iraq, and countless other situations. Our current politiicians are basically manipulators and liars. Do we really believe Hillary is going to tell us the truth? Or Obama for that matter. "Pass it and we can read the bill later...."

If you watched the video you would have seen that Trump exhibited much more restraint than, say, John "Don't tase me bro" Kerry, by warning Ramos several times before having his guard walk him out. Its also my understanding that Ramos was a jackass prior before the assemblage, was warned repeatedly, and still allowed to enter.

No, an American President should be able to take criticism and respond with rational thought. In recent administrations the practice has become to suppress people who disagree, for example, free speech zones created by Bush admin to stifle protest. That is disgraceful in America and every president should be held to a higher ethical standard. imo, Trump is an ass (and he is in good company with almost all the other candidates, many members of con-gress, and some of the press, possibly including the person in question.) .

Ramos was trying to pull a bully pulpit on Trump; I think he did the right thing, by, in essence, giving this journalist who was acting like a spoiled child a "time out". I did notice he did allow him back in; Ramos still tried to cram is nonsense in, but Trump handled him very professionally.

Ramos was merely acting like the folks that he represents; he attempted to jump to the front of the line, when another reporter had been chosen. That's the crux of the problem. Do foreigners have the "right" to ignore our laws and invade the country and then claim all kinds of rights which are reserved for CITIZENS?!? The very fact that there are 11 MILLION (or whatever the true number is) in the country constitutes and INVASION, especially when an American can't go the other way and do the same thing without being jailed. Perhaps La Raza is right; it is a reconquista.

You all need to go back and review the film again. He wasn’t being critical he was being rude and also he was trying to break up the rhythm of Trumps press conference to fit his agenda. Also do you all know who his daughter works for? Does the name Hilary mean anything?

Totally agree. Ramos was there to cause trouble and make a name for himself. Instead he got spanked and was sent to the principal's office. I don't necessarily trust Trump, but he's killing a few liberal sacred cows.

I'm having a hard time understanding Trumps ability to poke his finger right into the sore spot that many of us are or have experienced. He seems to have found the underlying frustrations that many people feel and addresses them without flinching. I have no idea as to whether or not he would make a good president, but he has brought some clarity to the issues confronting the average citizen of the United States.

No, Mr. Ramos, you don't. Any time someone else is involved, their consent is necessary. And especially at a press conference. You are permitted to come, but there are dozens of other reporters who also have questions to ask, therefore there must be a systematic approach. You wanted to ignore all that.

I liked the way Trump handled it. He was under pressure and the only thing I would have added to his “Go to Univision” part would be “Go take some lessons in civility and good manners at Univison, and come back when you pass the course.”
