Amazing what individuals can accomplish when they freely work together without the encumbrance of government that knows what's best.

Frightening things happen when individuals agree to be parented by the government.

I am grateful for discovering Ayn Rand at an early age. With her words, she painted a picture of the devastation of government control that is still with me today.

We the Living should have been required reading, a part of any research done, before supporting Obama and his healthcare reform.

But why research the effects (so sorry, unintentional consequences) of such delicious and intoxicating elixirs as "free," "lower rates" and "subsidies" prior to imbibing?

Nothing bad can happen here. This is America.

I remember seeing this a long long time ago... one of my favorite parts...

"So Joe got some money from Aunt Minnie... and Uncle Angus... and Gran'pappy... and Mr. Titus... When Joe's friends and relatives use their savings to help him buy tools and property, they were CAPITALISTS!

Don't blush folks... it's nothing to be ashamed of!"

    Ahhh... makes me SMILE!

    What an insightful cartoon!
The state offers everyone their own new "ism"... which makes them need protection from that "ism"... so the state grows incrementally, symbolized by "signing away freedom".
