Well, I very seldom watch MSM or even local news anymore. It's mainly become entertainment and seldom presents unbiased info. Most news is already controlled by Obama's machine.

Is this the gov't doing this, or is it the people demanding it? Well, not you or I.
It's just like national security. The Gov't didn't create Facebook. The Gov't didn't force us to put our lives out there on it. Why do we act surprise when the Gov't trolls it for data on us?
If someone flies a plane into a building and we could have connected the dots, we demand the gov't to be more diligent in their efforts - just don't look at my sh_t.
With Hitler, it wasn't the public will. A 21st century Hitler doesn't need to force his will on us. We're doing it to ourselves. We're demanding the gov't protect us from ourselves.
And yes, it's an opportunity to gain political grounds and gov't control.
I hope this country wakes up this November. Or at least, stays home, gets high, and forgets to vote.

I just contacted all of my senators and rep. Interesting, the young woman who fielded Sen Bennett's calls was quite caustic. I asked if she was aware of the "CIN" FCC program and her snarky reply was " I'm sure you didn't call to find out my personal knowledge, ma'am."
I was quite shocked! I was very respectful on the phone and began by praising Senator Bennett's outspokenness on the NSA spying. One would think this was not a bi-partisan issue. After all, imagine the hue and cry if such a program was unveiled under Bush. It will not surprise you to learn Sen. Bennett is a democrat.
