Looks like Trump and Carson are finally finding out what politics are really all about. It is a game in which the winners attain wealth and power. Those who are not in it for those two reasons threaten all the rest by their example. Of the two, power is the most important, because with it, everything is attainable. Trump is a threat because he has the money, and it's pretty obvious that he wants power -- lots of power. Carson is an even bigger threat because he is possibly what he appears to be, innocent Saint Benjamin. I'll bet the boys in the back room are just realizing that they finally went too far on reneging on their promises and are trying to figure out how to make themselves look good to the great unwashed, so that outsiders won't look so desirable.

Or they can remain as republicans and you still get a left wing fascist int he oval office.

But some people like voting for left wing socialist fascists and only disagree on witch one.

    spelling is correct.

I was agreeing with your entire previous statement.
In spirit. I did not make myself clear on that.

Why do things by halves get rid of the left wing of the left at the same time you are dumping the right wing of the left. The whole world would be better off.

Yes! We would be better off without the GOP!
Years ago a donator, I no longer merely toss a GOP donation request into the trash can.
Now I slap it in there with steadily growing contempt.
Maybe I'll start spitting on them first.
    Me dino gets emotional sometimes.
Self-serving professional politician traitors make me sick.

Sir: that is impossible because they do not know the meaning of the word.

as for T or C being elected that would be great because if you think we have seen gridlock in DC with either of them in the oval office we will really see gridlock and that is good for us if NOTHING happens in DC. We know when things happen there it is not good for us so if nothing happens there it is good for us.

Trump can fund his own campaign but the result wil be similar to Perot and even if he did win wouldn't make him any the less a left wing corporatist statist add looter. Ominous Parallels should be required reading for any trumpet blowers.

This shows how strong the politically correct need to be politically correct. The 2 least PC candidates are feared by the party. Let the feud lead to a Hillary victory and then see how ignorant they are.

Their choices leaves you sitting their yelling Where's the Charmin?

Absolutely spot on! I want to shout, "It's all about the ruling class and what it wants. Not us peons." The Republican party would rather lose elections than let the Conservative wing of the party gain control.

The country would be better off without the Government Party and go back to a multi party system of government. Calling their left and right wings by two names instead of just The Socialist Party isn't fooling anyone.

It doesn't matter. Not one bit. The Republican "management" will never let them win, and they can't win as Independents.

So we're gonna end up with another 4 or 8 years of the same crap, regardless of the letter beside the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania.

The establishment will still be in control, and we're another 4 or 8 years nearer the end.

    So why worry about it?

The more I hear from the republican leadership the more I believe there is little difference between both parties.

I'm always amazed at how many holdout Republicans there are here compared to large or small "L" libertarians. I mean, who really gives a shit about Trump/Carson?!

Good Riddance. The Party and likely the country would be better off without them.

It is time for the GOP politicians to check their premises.

The republican voters should have come to this conclusion after the "republican revolution" caved in to Clinton.
