I have not verified this and do not want to take the time, but I received this in an email chain. Likely some truth with exaggeration.

I have left out most of the email as it was not even of interest, but these parts were interesting. IF anyone feels like vetting the message that would be cool.

When I was in business I was all those people rolled into one. I should have paid myself more.

With 1 billion donated to there "Obama Memorial Fund" they have a free credit card for the rest of their life, even if they can only get 3 percent out of the money.

They will do more damage after they are out of the white house than when they were in it.

I find it strange that Nancy Reagan is not included in the list.

She has her own bookey on staff? Jeez, that is something I only thought members of the Saudi royal family had. Oh, wait, it's a person's name. Sorry. Although, based on XR's list, I wouldn't be surprised. However instead of "bookey" the title might be something like Staff assistant for calculating and actuating deposits in equine pursuits.

If Hillary gains the White House, stand by for a huge staff to support the "First Dude."

I'm not sure about the staff number. A search reveals different numbers depending on the political persuasion of the writer. It does seem like whatever the number is, it's a lot. Also, I do remember a while back she complained about not being paid for her First Lady duties and a dog walker paid $102K a year, although not sure if that was taxpayer money.

I was looking for a fabulously paid director for coordinating crappy school lunch menus, but I guess there is one of those in the Department of Education.

I wouldn't be at all surrounded as to that and other budgets Michelle Antoinette has run up and charged on her freebie eight year credit card.

But don't you know? It's all in how you define personal staff!
    [/sarcasm]

I think its also telling to look at the vacation expenses by administration. Bill Clinton looked downright penurious in comparison to the Obamas. Bush II tended to use his own ranch, which at least kept costs down.

I wonder how much of that was a result of all the replacement furniture they had to install after Hillary took off with most of it...

While the Bush's do look rather thrifty after the Obama admin (by about a 1/12 the frivilous expenses and 1/3 the debt accumulation) they also dwarfed all previous administrations on debt and I would suspect frivolous expenses.

It would be interesting to know if your friend would say the Bush's were also frivolous or not.

From what that article reads it says Laura Bush 16, Obama 22-24 depending on the source.

That is more likely since Clinton had 7, Bush had 16 and then escalation to 22 or 24 sounds far more likely than going down. No one seems to cut back anywhere on tax money spending.

I have also seen things on snopes that are dead wrong so I do not trust them, as you stated, liberal leaning.

One dollar is too much to be wasted of looted taxpayers production on any unconstitutional government expenditure.
The "first lady" has no claim on any funding whatsoever. She hasn't proven to be competent in any way and should not be awarded a government job or any government funding.
It's a republic owing its existence to the sovereign people.
It is not a monarchy or aristocracy.

A friend of mine from the secret service has said some things that make me not doubt this. I won't get into it...but they have been tasked with protecting people way further away from the White House than for any other administration. Also, he says that Laura Bush is a very, very nice lady.
