Interesting "experiment"

So, if the same amount of work needs to happen, taking the same amount of man-hours, then they will need to hire 25% more people. Which will drive the costs of city government up by more than 25% (since government is inefficient).

- 1Posted by $ KahnQuest 11 years agoWe already know that work expands to fill the time allotted, so it will be interesting to see if it will work the same in the opposite direction. Common sense tells me it won't, but I wonder how much pressure will be put on the people with the six-hour days to make it succeed. I'm sure the government, despite denying it, has a vested interest in making sure it appears to work.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
