    Remember, we saw the same thing with Part I, and that didn't stop it from ending a disaster.

      I don't see it that way. Atlas is no longer a gamble, but a long term investment. I've come to terms with the fact that a generation is lost. I'll live to see my grandson understand.

        "Atlas" is no longer a gamble in the sense that no one giving a hard look at the numbers believes the trilogy will see profit.

        With the removal of the potential for profit, the odds of Part III being made now depends on - that's right, altruism.

          I'm not sure Mooch meant monetary investment.

          Also, you can give money to something and have it not be altruistic. All you need is to think is the value you're getting for your money is equal to the money's worth.

    If Fandango "I'm in!" fan rating is anything analagous to talk radio caller activity (each caller's representing thousands' sentiments), this is very encouraging. I would say even moreso, given how sloth the average online user, who will not lift a finger for a simple click, let alone engage (what little) grey matter (there is).
