Obama Says Israel’s Prosperity Obstructs Peace

Obama blames the continuing Israeli-Palestinian conflict on, of all things, Israel’s prosperity. He’s wrong and if he understood the moral source of Israel’s affluence, he’d understand the path to peace.

Indeed, and this is why the United States should choose to side with Israel in any negotiations with its Arab neighbors. I think the interesting thing to note is that outside of oil and petroleum products, the Arab nations provide very little economically. Conversely, Israel has no oil and has literally had to scratch tooth and nail to be productive. That struggle has made them mentally strong as well.

When you look at technology as magic, then only magicians are able to create it. If you look at technology as something to be learned (by anyone), then it's available to anyone with a little effort. Obama is saying that technology is magic, and there are no Arab magicians. Imagine that.

Obama's statement confirms that he couldn't find his ass with both hands.

Obama is really bad in foreign relations. He gets no respect because he gives no respect

Marxism might be wrong, but it doesn't make a person equate culture, religion, or ethnicity.

The West is called "pluralistic" or "diverse". In terms of culture, it is better. How do we know? Because it allows for a diversity of religious and ethnic groups to "coexist" as the popular bumper sticker states, and coexist in the riches of it's bounty.

Now, what group is a cultural authoritarian? What group stands most against the enlightenment values of the West? Of course, it is Islam. And more specific than that, it is Islamic Terror. (A phrase that was edited out of a White House YouTube video.)

But there is nothing that "unites" Arabs, Persians, Afghans, and Pakistanis in the sense that Westerners mean the word. These groups share Islam as a religion, but it does not "unite" them. It makes them similar. It gives them the audacity to hate. But the united states of Islam is as close to a logical impossibility as anything, as ISIS proves.

For Obama to suggest that Israel has political power as a result of economic power shows he shares the same destructive tendencies as Islam. In veiled language it suggests that economic rights for the Palestinians will give them political bargaining power. It suggests fewer blockades, it suggests (more) welfare to the Palestinians, it suggests opening borders and allowing freer movement. What other economic rights could it possibly suggest? Of course, these. These? At a time of increasing stabbings and attacks on Jews simply because they are Jews? That is quite obviously anti-semitic.

So, if Obama is a Marxist Muslim or a Muslim Marxist is of no concern. The point is that for him to suggest that Israel has wealth that others do not and to leverage the comment in political fashion to embolden Israel's enemies is reminiscent of some comments made about Jews in Europe around 73 years ago.

I sense the sarcasm. But I think it absolutely matters. Even to Obama. Though it matters in an opposite way to him, for sure.

Imagine what Obama would say about Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Before there was desert, now there are functional, even thriving communities. Before modern Israel, there was very little. Israelis made huge advances in irrigation, desalination, chemistry, electronic material processing, and software engineering to name a few.

Same old nonsense of some necessity of needing to believe in something greater than oneself in order to be worthy of consideration. It is near impossible for a human to not be aware that there is more to existence than ones self. Obama's main trouble is believing a crappy philosophy tainted by religion that does not let him know much about science and its applications. How can his altruistic bent be translated into any kind of selfishness since he gets his jollies by being worshiped by others.

Obama is clearly a Muslim sympathizer but it is not clear that he holds any real beliefs other than in his own delusional superiority. Even Muslims believe in a greater power, I doubt that Obama believes anyone or any thing is greater than he is. He is the ultimate narcissist and views all the world as beneath him.

The destruction of the greenhouses and infrastructure in the Sinai by Hamas was one of the best examples of that..

    Hello, DrHudgins,
I have not had the time to ponder this carefully. As I read what you wrote above, it flashed in my mind that there is something in Islam that enhances the development of envy. Arguably, Hindus have lived in direr poverty than Middle East Arabs, yet they do not seem to be nearly as much afflicted with envy. Jus a thought.

The scary thing is every time he says something its a lie so one can assume the opposite of most statements ex: "This will be the most transparent administration" meaning the most veiled.
That why I had great concern when he recently talked about stopping nuclear proliferation

Arab societies seem to be totally lacking in empathy, even for their peers. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria could have taken in the Palestinians, assimilating them into their familial nations. Instead, the Palestinian Arabs have been kept in internment camps since 1948, indoctrinated with hate for the Israelis. Are they actually too stupid to resent the fact their Arab "brothers" have treated them like pariahs, worth no more than cannon fodder?

We're seeing a repeat of this shameful behavior with the current flood of Syrian refugees. None of the Arab countries have invited them to become residents, with only Jordan and Turkey allowing them to even reside temporarily in camps in their territories. Blissfully ignoring this bothersome fact, our European brethren are committing slow suicide by attempting to assimilate a people who hate the European culture.

In the eyes of most of the Muslim world, the only good infidel is a dead infidel. Those we would call "moderate" Muslims are definitely in the minority.

Is it time we began playing "cowboys and Muslims?"

To the astute person, the above statement tells you everything you need to know about Obama. It reveals his view of prosperity, success, the acquisition of wealth, and the geopolitical consequences of industry. To the moochers, it is the confirmation that the world owes them a living.

    Evaluating the Liar-In-Chief?
For me quite early in King Barry's regime, that came down to "his lips are moving."
