"Jill Filipovic, formerly a political editor at Cosmo and Guardian US columnist, gave jaw-dropping evidence of the left's utter lack of self-awareness in what has to be one of the most insanely clueless comments ever tweeted by a leftist."

That's possibly the very reason we didn't become sheeple and not only gained a mind but kept it while others lost it.

That's gotten me into a fair amount of trouble, too. I'm just not built that way. Probably have some of my son's autism, because I just don't get ass-kissing. I have to actually think it through as it's not automatic for me. Haha...

Well.. we don't value bowing to authority but the author of that statement's boss does and Soros doesn't brook thinking in his organization.

    I knew it!
By George, there are hidden Coca-Cola factories on Mars. It's just that they're so well camouflaged that you can't see them.

By the way, did you know that the Ambassador Bridge which links Detroit to Windsor, Canada is for sale?

The above are closer to the truth than Ms. Filipovic's statement.

Think rationally and don't bow to authority. ..AR

They require authority figures and values imposed on them from outside sources, ... So they bow to authority naturally, and submission is their comfort. ... We don't expect spiritual people to grasp our nature, but we generally understand theirs, ...Luis Rodriguez

Revelation 18 12-13 show the Babylonian system which is defined as upside down from the religious version. Basically one is kneeling to an earthly power and the other is using the religious power as sanction to manage or supervise or be a good a steward of....

There are many quotes but most end up with Authority being Secular which means in this case the writer is full of stale air and it's not even hot enough to merit more than a chuckle.

That was written for the true believers who are probably starting to think and therefore stray.

Actually, I believe the quote likely originated from a statement in Proverbs.

This is the epitome of the leftist acolytic mindset. The creation of alternate realities in their small, delusional minds - Regardless of facts or overwhelming evidence to the contrary

I looked it up because I wrongly guessed Mark Twain. Many attribute it to Abe Lincoln because a 1931 book, 60 some years later credited him.the earliest written of the adage was author Maurice Switzer in 1906 "Mrs. Goose and her book"
It was in a companion book things Mark Twain did not say 2001 Ken Burns documentary.
