As always... but still judge in the context of that time and their culture. Your current position is a comment on our times. You are not responsible for anything that happened before your were born you are responsible only for age of reaching majority to death. There are always innocents to one degree or another.

Question if they support the system but take no active part are they innocent? According to the new law mere suspicion of is sufficient for both the act and any support. According to Obama and the Congress.

Since the Muslim religion is a one system fits all for church and government and every day life purposes are their any innocents and if so then who is responsible?

Considering their are 72 or divisions and not all are by our standards part of the kill for the joy of killing portion.

Add to that until there is a way of separating our wheat from their chaff by our standards why are they allowed in 'en masse' while truly innocents such as yazdi, christians, bahai and others kept out by our goveernment prncipally the President and the State Department?

And that brings me to the final point

How innocent is any voter that chooses to keep them in power. That means Sanders, Clinton, Trump and Kasich for sure ....

The question is one of those point one finger three are pointing in reverse and probably five on the other hand not exclusing the face in the mirror.

    An innocent question

The innocent people being killed had no voice in the creation of those laws. The only reason they might call police is in a cry for help in an attempt to legally put a stop to the murders being committed by the cartel thugs.
They are not freedom fighters. They are not acting against those who created the laws. They are murdering innocent bystanders. There is no rational defense for these murderers.

That whole area was in a different time with a different set of cultures. Judging them through the lens todays cultures is meaningless. Many of the mentioned groups crossed swords with a number of empiricists. My favorite Temujin who had a way of sorting out the useful from the non useful Very Objective.

Those who would call the police against an activity that isn't wrong are not innocent. They have merely chosen a cowardly method of using force.

Remember, in 1492, the Moors had just been kicked out of Spain, after nearly 800 years. Do you think the Spaniards had been influenced by the Muslims, just a little?

I ran across this book by accident in a garage sale about 8 or 10 years ago. It was printed in 1959 and when I picked it up and read the dust jacket, it made me go "Hmmm, I never knew that!", so for 50 cents I brought it home. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down... UN-EFFing believable! A totally un-sanitized accounting from the Spanish point of view.

Sure there is -- the laws deny police protection to people in those businesses, so they have to defend their own property.

The drug users weren't mentioned, only the purveyors who murder anyone who gets in the way of their illicit business. I also made no mention of the politics that created the drug smuggling "business." The murderous drug cartels are just as disgusting as the murderous banking cartel, murderous military industrial cartel, and murderous statist government cartel. They have chosen to murder the innocent in response to market conditions. There is no excuse regardless of the idiotic nature of the laws that create the demand.

Any deaths from drug related wars are effects of the drug laws themselves. Your comment is like blaming booze drinkers for the St. Valentines Day Massacre.

Islamaphobe is BS. I have a certain phobia regarding rattlesnakes and scorpions, too. If you let them in the house it's only a matter of time before you wish you didn't.

If you all want an excellent accounting of that historic period look for "The Discovery And Conquest Of Mexico" by Bernal Diaz Del Castillo. He was an officer under Cortez and this is a biography and description of events by a man who was there. The Conquistadors led by Cortez were also supported by 50,000 warriors of surrounding tribes who hated the Aztec. Keep in mind the Aztec were like a budding and expanding Roman empire only more brutal if you could imagine such a thing. They were slaughtering and enslaving in all directions. Then the Spanish showed up. Even though the Spanish knew the Inquisition, the brutality of these tribes and the Aztec in particular made them take pause. I read a story some time back that said in Cortez's journal he said after he first arrived the Aztecs sent him stretchers bearing piles of human heads of slaves sacrificed to him, since they thought he was an emissary of a god, and he said "These are an ungodly people and I care not what becomes of them". It actually took about three years to bring down the Aztecs. Cortez got his ass kicked the first time out and ran for his life down the coast.

I laughed at that - not because it was funny in a hilarious way, but because it was so satirically true. You really ought to make that into a political cartoon. Like a "Then and Now" kind of thing.

I realize that my constant harping on the evils of Islam sound like I'm an Islamaphobe. I also realize that there's a lot to be phobic about. Many years in the past, I was friends with and close to many people that were Muslim. Today, I would exercise great caution when I encounter them.

This was one of the reasons President Obama's snub the other day was such a big deal. It is the equivalent of the Iranians' denial of the holocaust.
