Your Money, urinated away on these barbaric tribes so they get the best of the best but We The People, who grew this food, get the worst of the rest.

"... Vietnamese boat people ...". Yes and the ones I've come to know and work with as well as the ones living in my neighborhood are ALL speaking English and fitting in quite well. They WANT to be Americans and have no need or desire to turn Americans into what they left in Vietnam. They SHARE their past culture with those that are interested but do not force it upon others.

If they want to have them live in a totally culturally appropriate manner, how about sending them home?

The Vietnamese boat people didn't get this kind of assistance. They bootstrapped themselves quite successfully. Here in OKC there are many Vietnamese markets, eating establishments, and other businesses that demonstrate you can become an American success and still enjoy your own culture.

There are also a good number of Middle Eastern markets and businesses, run by legal immigrants who are strong, positive members of the greater community. The liberals are all too eager to treat others as helpless victims, rushing to push handouts, not giving these new members of society the chance to see if they can succeed on their own.

When they say "culturally appropriate" I thought they meant food the refugees could get back home... but I really don't think they're accustomed to regularly eating "artisanal heirloom tomatoes".

Correct...which says to me, they were either force or compelled to come here which is why they demand but not willing to create. They, the vast majority, are nothing like us as a whole, they want nothing to do with America nor it's promise of equal opportunity.

So maybe they Are here to destroy us and take over...is that not the ways of a pagan, non-conscious, barbaric society?

If the refugees want a "culturally appropriate farmers market" let them build it. Get a job, save some money and invest in building the farmers market. Handouts and never valued and in the long run most such actions return to bite the butt of the giver.
