The Growth Of Global Warming Nonsense: Surely We've Reached Peak Madness

At least someone sees what a joke they have made of this whole thing. I do not close the door on the fact the world climate may be changing, I just refuse to listen to their lies, hyperbole and propaganda (from both sides now) since they have been so busy jiggering all the data, no one can be trusted. I believe the result is a large majority of people say "screw you" because they cannot believe in it, nor their draconian attempts at control and manipulation.

I hesitate to go that route for the simple reason that the courts cannot be trusted. By that I mean you will get skewed results from judge to judge and I do believe they are corrupt. I took a guy to court for a nuisance, having 300 alpacas on 3 acres and never picking up any poop. A county commissioner said we would never win,as the county is a "right to farm" county. We got a 140,000 judgement for damages, but the judge did not rule that it was a nuisance, How do you have damages and no cause? That is why I would never take someone to court. I got 50K in debt, and the dude filed bankruptcy (he was a con from California and had been disbarred as a lawyer). It is not worth the risk with the ability to just dump the judgment, if you win, and the judge is not bought.

I have long thought something similar; if an environ
-mentalist wants someone to stop operating a bus-
iness, or to have it curtailed, etc., because of al-
leged pollution, let him to to court and prove his
charge; and if he can't prove it, he (the accuser)
should have to pay the costs.

There is always someone with their agenda, who wants to tell you "their" truth. It rarely is the same truth, story to story. I have gotten to the "prove it to me" point, and then need to know where the data comes from, and then check that as well. Both nuclear winter and the air pollution things are true, but in very specific circumstances, which I cannot control, so I do not want others trying to make me either obey their crazy rules, nor pay for their fixes. You pollute it, you fix it, not me. China is a perfect example, if they want to breathe air they can see, who am I to say no?

Well, I remember reading a remark (or threat?) a-
bout "nuclear winter" in the early '70's. Some kind
of remark about a summer (or summers) like the
summer of 1816, because of so much air pollution.
But I have a long memory, and I wasn't born
    yesterday.

When a teenager during the 60s, me dino experimented with astrological advice I'd receive in newspapers and magazines.
It did not deliver. To this day I won't read the crap.

I used to get those astrology tests all the time: "What's your sign?"

Good answers: Slippery when wet. Soft shoulder.

    A friend's better answer: "Draco."
--- "But that's not in the Zodiac."
    "Not on Earth."

For the mathematically inclined: "I could give you a Taylor expansion for the sine, if you wanted."

More like "faux science". As so many "sceintists" have lent their name and titles to this junk they should be considered to be what they are, faux scientists. I wouldn't believe anything they had to say about anything. I take that back, I might believe them about the time of day, twice a day, if I could look at my watch to verify it.

Pity the children. Each day parents with the best intentions bundle our smallest and most precious children up against cold weather, we inoculate them against a host of illnesses and diseases, we buy the safest school buses and cars to ferry them to school, we hire the best (and highest paid) teachers in the free world - and yet we allow them to be brainwashed with what can only be called a godless religion - climate change.

I've often said that if you want to see what a cult looks like, examine this idiots. Facts, science, data nothing matters to them and if you challenge them with reality - if one on one, you might get out unscathed, but they do tend to run in packs and the mob mentality and can be very dangerous.

Yes Global warming is a scam and Donald Trump pretended to recognize it as such during his campaign and is now stating that 'possibly there is some connection there' and that he will have to take a closer look at it. As with all offerings by the left whether it is about the climate, gun control or the ACA it is not about what is pretended (we are here to help you) but that 'we are here to control you.'

Well, you could always write a test question that student will miss to make a point.
It's up to you to decide if it is worth it.
That student may just shrug it off and move on to be laughed at every now and then.
Me dino suddenly recalls the huge area that was the Louisiana Purchase stretching all the way to Canada. Haven't given that a single thought for decades.

I am a high school teacher and have been trying to get a particular student to understand that Louisiana is a STATE. He refuses to accept that, he says it is a Country because his Moma says so and will not budge.

    Those people are out there.
I worked with a fellow corrections officer who made a remark about the sun going around the earth.
I told him the earth goes around the sun.
    He said, "It does?"
I gave him a less than two-minute crash copurse about how the solar system works to which he said, "I must have missed school that day."
Me dino recalls taking astrology tests and needing to have at least a high school education to go the the corrections academy in Selma, Alabama.
So maybe that guy was taught by the School Marm in the Snuffy Smith comic strip.

"I've looked at clouds from both sides now,
    From up and down,
    And still somehow.
    It's cloud illusions I recall,
I really don't know clouds, at all."
"Both Sides Now" -- Song by Joni Mitchell

That could be the theme song of the Climate Nuts.

This will go down as the biggest scam ever perpetrated. EVEN IF we could magically eliminate ALL human generated CO2, the atmospheric concentration would only drop 400 ppm to 392 ppm!!! If 400 ppm didn't wipe us out, why would 392 ppm???

The legitimate scientists need to grow a spine and denounce this "Consensus Science" crap for what it really is - pseudoscience!!!!!

We obviously have a believer in human-induced climate change, given all of the markdowns I see. The climate is always changing, and has since well before the existence of humankind. The latest indications are that the supposedly record temperature rise is purely a result of a strong El Nino, and indications are that a countering La Nina effect will likely result in reduced temperatures for the next year. The truth is that humans have a small effect on climate, and even the most draconian attempts to reduce the rise, assuming the models are correct, by the end of the century by 0.3 deg centigrade. Given we are constantly learning new information about climatology, even that number is suspect, given past predictions by these models have been so far off.

Remember a few years ago Barbara Streisland told everyone to hang their clothes outside to dry and not use their dryers? Then a fellow California millionaire flew over her property in a helicopter looking for clothes lines and all they could find was her AIR CONDITIONED horse barn. Same old, same old, do as I say not as I do.
