Leukemia
I was just curious, does anyone have a working knowledge of the effects of Leukemia? Specifically, I guess I am asking - what should I expect if I have a parent who is diagnosed with it? Is treatment pervasive? What kind of longevity/life span should I expect? Symptoms?
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Not to depress everyone, but my mother is currently in remission for breast and lung cancer... even though I'm 31 - my parents had me later on in their lives, so my mom is 75 and my dad is 68. They've both had long, meaningful lives (Cuban migrants who escaped Castro's Cuba) but like any child - I don't think I'm prepared to let go. But I definitely am doing my due diligence and studying their conditions to make myself educated for their sake and mine.Permalink|
