Hi all,
With the birth of my nephew and niece three years ago, I started becoming more and more aware of the content of current children's books and, to be honest, I was a little scared. It seemed like A LOT of the books out there are very casually filled with collectivist thought, environmental extremism and vilification of competition, all thinly disguised by cute rhymes and colorful illustrations. I decided to write and illustrate a book of my own which celebrated individualism and personal freedom...thinly disguised by cute rhymes and colorful illustrations!     Well, since I mentioned it here a few months ago, I guess it's time for an update...my middle grade/young adult fantasy novel, The Iron Order is out and ready to go. It's currently available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions. As I mentioned before, the themes present aren't quite as "in-your-face" as in Grasshopper, but they are definitely there and unmistakable. As the series progresses, they will become more and more prominent.

    The perfect ages for what I'm working on! The themes contained within won't be quite as overt as in Grasshopper, but will be unmistakable. Should be out by summer if all goes according to plan.

    And I'm likewise honored to have sold it to you! I'm always working on a few things at once, so there are definitely more children's books on the horizon. First up though will probably be a "young readers" novel.
