- 1Posted by overmanwarrior 12 years, 5 months agoThe important thing about understanding Ayn Rand is that she didn't want followers--more collectivists. She wanted "thinkers." I don't think a real John Galt would have pictures of Ayn Rand on his wall to keep his mind focused on his "thoughts." Ayn Rand is free to believe whatever she wanted. And I am free to believe what I want. But facts are the facts no matter what anybody believes and are observable the same by all. This is the theme of Objectivism. People who enjoy Ayn Rand most are not followers of hers. They are simply people who have observed similar realities.Permalink|
