Gee "feckless c@@t" gets you a couple dropped advertisers, but a poorly worded and not funny "joke" about race gets you canned and ostracised. Not defending either, just the level of penalty. Guess it makes a difference what side you are when you need to be spanked.

    It's encouraging that the mainstream media's double standard is now obvious to the general public, and a hot topic of conversation. As recently as a few years ago, this double standard was not nearly as explicit, and the general public was unaware of how extensive it had become.
