One would think this would totally disarm the :Social Democrats" idiocy, but maybe the sheeple do not read such mundane pieces...

The idea actually has a lot of merit, I think it would go over better with sheeple as a fictional stoy, with names changed. But it might be a worthwhile project.

I think it would be more effective in educating people to the evils of socialism. Get that Cortez lady to go down there to live for 6 months !!! Along with Maxine, and Pelosi, and Schumer.

It is true that Atlas Shrugged sets a moral base, but I dont people today live in that world. The fact is that socialism doesnt and in fact cant work to give people what they want. People seem to think today that socialism can make a better world- but it hasnt ever, and cant work. They need to see this, and venezuela is a really good example of this.

I am a bit more optimistic. I think if you interviewed Venezuelans today MOST would not be so enthusiastic or hopeful about their new "way" of operating. They have seen reality first hand. Reality lived is a powerful teacher.
Bit by bit, the tide can be turned. Such as, "Would you be for letting supermarkets operate without government regulation to allow food to be brought back to the shelves?" I have a feeling there would be a resounding, "YES, please."

Have John Galt be the voice of the movie, the unseen commentator. Throw in some AS quotes along the way, just for fun. :)

YES! Better yet a documentary movie.
Show a clip of Chavez and Maduro speech and then show scenes over the next few years of how their desires were actually implemented yet results were horrible.
If I had the money I would sponsor it.

Venezuela is a real study of the rise and fall of socialism. It would be a great tv series. As it gets more desperate. It could show us what desperate steps it takes to stay in power

Interesting. The left is starting to openly criticize Q. Must be something to this then

"Boomalay boom on the big bass drum,
Where is the money coming from?
It's used in research, children dear,
For ways to increase the tax next year."
    -- Ogden Nash
A certain element of truth, there.
You don't think politician's pockets are lined with lint, do you?

Yes, the magic wand of applied good 'ole Yankee ingenuity can conjure up a wonderful Candyland filled with lollipops and everyone gets to lie around, playing with assorted electronic devices while being fed free bon-bons by prancing unicorns.

I will check it out. Thanks. The one sentence request was to give me a framework for understanding what Q is about

Q is the mass of people and organizations that believe in the Constitution, freedom and personal responsibility inherent in that framework, and are at war with those who seek to impose their own skewed sense of government on us by nefarious and illegal means.

Nah, just make "arrangements", it has worked for the Clintons, and the Obama admin, why not us?

This leaves the question -do we just deal with our own lives and try to hide in plain sight until the surroundings deteriorate to the point that the danger of resisting is lower and the chances of influencing meaningful change is greater -or do we go on the offensive now and try to turn things srounf

No "Their" socialism will work, just ask them. Don't ask the sheeple cheering for them how to pay for it, best any interviewer found was "uh, she will find a way".....same thing as Venezuela...

Democrats do, look at Obama's list of beneficiaries...although the Republicrats like Bush did their share too, billions for Iraq, Afghanistan. First you do rapid urban renewal (bomb the crap out of them), then you fix it, and leave your own country to fall apart. Modern American politics.
