House GOP moves to impeach Rosenstein

So one has to wonder, is Trey doing something stupid to stay under the radar and be seen as a pawn the RINOs casn manipulate or is he really one of them. Statements like "Impeachment is a punishment, it's not a remedy," House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Trey Gowdy said shortly before Meadows introduced the resolution. "If you are looking for documents, then you want compliance, and you want whatever moves you toward compliance." seem to indicate he is trying to protect the Deep States attempts at obfuscation, and RINO Ryans lack of effort is just as expected. One has to wonder at something where the FBI and DOJ has lied and obfuscated for 2 years on producing anything related to Hillary, such as the emails, records, servers etc, that they essentially gave them the finger, constitutes "Republican leaders, however, have said in recent weeks that they are satisfied with the Justice Department's progress. Gowdy said after the meeting that he was pleased with the department's efforts. House Speaker Paul Ryan has also said he is satisfied with progress on the document production.". RINO's indeed. How much money is therein this mess, one has to wonder....

Our problem is that we need a good CEO to run the government agencies, who can and will fire people without fear of all the political blowback.

Treason is punished by death. And this is a lot cheaper than all of us paying for imprisonment. They cant be rehabilitated, so they must be eliminated

I am starting to understand why there is so much violence and terrorism today, and it seems to be increasing. People are getting tired of battling these bastions of power, and they just revert to schoolyard solutions- beat the crap out of the people who deserve it. Today, the only option seems to be to just shoot them and then get shot by the police and its all over- no more upset.

Would I be upset if someone shot Rosenstein or Muller, Schumer, Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and the like ? They wouldnt last very long in a schoolyard without getting taught a lesson (which I guess they never had)

I dont understand why he doesnt just DO that. Must be afraid of political pressure of obstruction.

Note that Trump's lawyer said he would permit an interview with Mueller on any subject EXCEPT OBSTRUCTION. That seems to be the only one having criminal penalties for Trump.

I could fix it in a day. Sessions/Rosenstein + any obama appointees. Give Ryan his walking papers now instead of waiting till HE chooses to leave.

Censor CNN and exclude their reporters. That might cause all the news agencies to rebel and to not go to press briefings. So What really.

There is TV, YouTube, Twitter that would all be happy to broadcast what the President of the USA has to say.

My estimate is that NOTHING will happen at all in the end. The witch-hunt will continue until witches are found enough to justify the spending of the millions. They will not stop until dirt is found on Trump, which will be embarrassing but not fatal, but will take up energy and time from Trump (which is all they really want).

Sessions recused himself because he knew the whole russian collusion thing was a pile of sh$#, and he didnt want to be soiled by going along or opposing it. There was no winning for his political career, which is all that counts.

The house and senate leadership sucks and is worthless. Ryan should have just left the day he quit. I thought the house and senate voted to pass things. what do they need a "leader" for. Congressmen are big boys and should be able to figure out what their constituents want and vote accordingly without a "leader".

Rosenstein should be fired. Too bad Trump just cant DO it without being charged with obstruction of some sort. Rosenstein would never last in private business, and certainly not in the mafia.

I am pretty disgusted with the whole thing. This must be one of the things makes civilizations last approximately 250 years before they crumble from the results of the mistakes made.

I would say that the more the swamp defends itself, the closer we get to single terms. We the citizens can do this all on our own. Simply refuse to vote for any incumbent. They get ONE term to do what they promise. There is no lifelong coddling to be available in politics like it has been. Its time for US to fix this; the congress will never vote to restrict terms to ONE.

Agree except for the punishment. Life in prison can be commuted by corrupt presidential pardon in the future.

While I agree with you on POTUS and Rosey and the MSM, I also recognize that the financial "news" sources have a vested interest in manipulating the readers to buy when Wall St is secretly selling short and sell when Wall St is secretly buying. Its a completely manipulated market that benefits insiders within the cartel. They will throw Trump's economy under the bus whenever they can profit from misleading the public in that way.

Rosenstein sits there like a smug little liar.

POTUS enjoys the fight, and certainly doesn’t remain quiet. He has a fan-following for not putting up with MSM’s fabrications and distortions.

All you have to do is watch the contrast between financial reporting on FoxBusiness, Yahoo Finance, etc.. on how fantastic the economy is doing- No mention, at all, on MSM news - they pull out one thread of some bad news somewhere to poster-up for their 30 minute broadcast.

"most honorable people would resign if they are dragged through the mud in every publication"
Are you talking about Rosey or POTUS?

As I replied to scojohnson below...I think the President should declassify all of these "memos" being requested and make them plublic. In the sunlight Rosenstein would melt into a puddle of swamp water/muck.

I'm hoping that Jim Jordan becomes the next Speaker. He was one of the ones who called for President Obama to be impeached and he was one of the sponsors of the articles of impeachment against Rosenstein, who has been slow-walking the documents for nearly 18 months regarding the Hillary investigation - all to protect his buddies in the FBI and on the Mueller probe. I sincerely hope they do impeach Rosenstein - even though you know the Democrats won't vote to convict him.

Our President needs to declassify all the papers that are being requested. Then the "problem" with Rosenstein would take care of itself.

I see it differently, I think his statement means that if you want to fix the problem (obstructionism), picking one person to "punish" isn't going to change the culture.

While we want to think that if you pick one out and flog & beat him, suddenly the rest will snap in line - in reality, for government, passive-aggressiveness prevails, so the rest would "rebel". in my opinion, f-it, burn it down, but he's being realistic about it.

That being said, Rosenstein needs to be removed from office, most honorable people would resign if they are dragged through the mud in every publication - but he's also a hero to the libs, so he's holding out- thinking if he survives Trump the next dem might make him AG or whatever.

I would rather see Rosenstein, Comey, Strzok, Page, et. al. tried for treason against the Constitution and serve life imprisonment...drain the swamp....
