When I started this discussion, I thought these "bombs" could explode. It did not take long for me to realize that the "bombs" were as phony as Fake News.

Any of these scenarios are possibilities.
Me dino favors an attempt to paint the right wing as dangerous.

its a war out there, and we need to take sides as francisco says. the liberals are really just doing desperate things like the caravan of illegals and the bomb threats to affect the election. Even attacking repubs in restaurants. I do think its working against the democrats though, as people are seeing through it.

It more amazing that none of them had gone off. Has anyone noticed that there are no media reports on either side as to why they were all duds? Personally I like duds, they can sometimes accomplish a lot. My third night in Vietnam a mortar round came through the roof of the hooch where I was sleeping and crashed through the wall outside. It was a Chinese Dud. I owe my life to that one. It made me realize I might be going home in a box, and changed my whole outlook on the rest of my tour. Maybe these "dud's" will actually accomplish something, but I still don't condone this act of terror.

Since the vituperative Democrats have not got a good-will leg to stand on, it is my opinion that this entire shipment or fake pipe bombs was sent out to make it appear as if it was sent out by Trump supporters. So much for a kinder, gentler, political rivalry.

Thinking of the Kavenaugh hearing (wait, don't even need that hearing with all the other prior factors to weigh in), me dino wouldn't put that past certain the end justifies the means evildoers.

The FBI has bragged in the past about infiltrating conservative groups (e.g., militias.) No such group would have any chance to do this sort of thing without being discovered; the FBI would have agents inside the group. OTOH, the FBI has been known to encourage such activity in order to entrap and imprison such people.

The pipe bombs etc. were numerous. This is OBVIOUSLY not the work of a single deranged person, regardless of ideology.

So, an organization and/or a well-funded operation.
BUT, for all the hue and cry, NO casualties.

This strongly suggests that some leftie organization, such as the Soros-op
engineered the whole thing to get sympathy and ability to point fingers.

The missing point is that all of the people involved were perceived in some way to have been part of the plot to screw Bernie Sanders out of the Democrat nomination. Why? Because he was a populist, not a globalist.

Remember, it was a Sanders supporter who shot Steve Scalise. There are some real nutbags in the socialist left side of the Democrat party, and it could be Antifa, PO'd that the party hasn't yet called for the revolution to begin.

Could it be a pure false flag, dreamed up by the party, trying to paint the right wing as dangerously violent? Could they be trying to get Trump to tone down his speech and tamp the enthusiasm of the crowds he draws?

Could this be a real right wing goof, trying to cleanse the Earth of swamp creatures? It's entirely possible. Conservatives don't have any better lock on sanity than progressives.
