The only way to stop it is with education which is so sadly lacking at this point, and with turnout of voters that understand what is at stake.

In every tv series and movie that has a villain responsible for the crimes
of the moment, the criminals are almost always white men, with an
occasional token white woman thrown in "for balance." Sure there are
minor criminals of other races, but they always have an excuse provided
by the writers like being raised in a 'bad neighborhood'. Illegal immigrants
are always portrayed as innocent victims by Hollywood writers.
They didn't mean to be criminals; it was just their environment. Note also
that a majority of departments in police dramas are headed by 'people of
color' as are mayors of major cities.
(Whoopie Goldberg as mayor of NYC? That's almost believable now .;^)
When there is a white male mayor, he is always corrupted, while non-white
mayors are always models of ethics and integrity.
Bright tv detectives of color regularly chide their white male partners for their
stupidity. Notice that characters exhibiting racism are never black or Latino?
TV commercials produced for large companies add to the cacophony of lies
showing couples with brilliant women and slovenly men.
It's remarkable that the companies who sell these products haven't
realized that they are insulting at least half their potential customers.

Durden's article here is a good one, but one like it could have been written a decade or two ago, which is what I meant to point out. Back in the late 80s a job posting at the large company I worked for that said "diverse candidates welcome" always meant white male need not apply. By the 90s Hollywood and Madison Avenue were getting fully on board scripting out or disparaging white males (or white people in general) and the practice is so common today many don't even see it and you would have to be a "bigot" to notice it. Except every once in a while you may see an article like this one - but nothing seems to come of it.

Right now, small towns to the west of me are fighting another data center location. Ohio seems to have an inordinate number of them, either in place or in development. Petitions are flying around with warnings about ground water depletion, heat islands, electrical blackouts and brownouts, drastically rising utility costs. Trying to find objective information (i.e. the actual facts) is very difficult. Sifting fact from fiction is almost impossible for those of us with limited knowledge of AI workings.

Now, for my long term fantasy, the Bali project, I have a more conventional solution to that problem- employ a full time human.

There are other areas to be considered, business and blue collar. In such areas there are in-built biases towards competence.
