It's a fact and satisfying that rule is part of the process, not accepting where that rule came from.

I thought that Trumps solution, (demonstration of compliance) is quite unique and probably pisses the crown off!

No need to say you're sorry. It's The view that's sorry. That's me a dino joke for today. "Peeyew" rhymes with View, by the way.
Watch Gutfeld. Before I spent some time hospitalized recently, he was taking a joking shot at The View within the first 15 minutes of each show.
Reckon he is still at it.

Me dino despises any politician who falsely claims to have served in Vietnam. That includes any pompous civilian fatheaded fart who falsely claims he deserves any kind of military medal too.

Taking The View off the airwaves wasn't really the point; shutting them up and shutting them down--regardless of where they were yapping--was the point. I didn't want to take them off of ABC; I wanted to prevent them from ever having a forum again. It was shutting them up that mattered, not taking them off TV.

"Free Speech", on network television, is good only as long as the ratings reflect it.

Remember that television networks are "private" businesses, have NO requirement to respect the free speech protected in our Constitution AND can cancel it at any time (goodbye Colbert).

Caveat: If my assumptions are wrong, feel free to correct me.

The real problem with The View is that they only talk about one subject. And The View is similar to the Iranian school system, teaching the kids to hate the Jews and hate Americans.

The good part about The View is that we know what they are thinging and what they beleive. If we didn't know we couldn't fight it.

I am so sorry for your mom. Of course she has every right to watch The View, but the garbage that is going into her mind is just too bad. I watch The Five. I can’t stand Jessica and her half truths. Then one day it dawned on me that I didn’t have to watch this idiot. So on the days that she is on I turn over to the Fox business channel and watch its news report. I am pleased to day that it has been a most liberating experience.

As far as The View is concerned, shutting them down by force ignores the basic reality that you can't fix stupid!

I want to say this very carefully.

It's always a SAD day in America... When I can trust what Russian Intelligence says... Over the Democrats in office, or our national Media.

My favorite Putin Quote, when Tucker Asked "Why don't you air these facts?"

"You CANNOT win a Propaganda War against the USA!"

And that was NOT a compliment.

My Russian Friends like to remind me:
    1) We NEVER believed what the govt said
    2) We were SHOCKED Americans believed their government and the NEWS in general.

FWIW, they only eat local fruits, vegetables, that are in-season. They put their BABIES outside to sleep in the stroller, wrapped up (Alaska Winter Weather). Because the baby will "learn" to maintain their body warmth "unconsciously".
Like the Ice Man preaches... Done naturally through gradual exposure to the elements.

Also, FTR, they don't trust doctors.
And nowadays, they are more "American" than the average American! (Sacrificing for future generations).

Dude, it's understandable. Free Speech is on thing, repeatedly spewing toxic meaningless, error ridden, emotionally stunting, information poor, vile, empty drivel and propaganda, is probably beyond what the founders had in mind.

    Excellent introspection. Nobody is perfect.
But saying things out loud, in public... Normally has a very good feedback system. One where we can ALL LEARN.

What makes you Gulcher? Not that your views and our views are in perfect alignment...

It's that you realized you might WANT to publish this.

    That's good enough for me.
I will send you DM when I become perfect! lol

Finally, Women have become insane... Because Society is encouraging and painting it as feminism.

there is NOTHING Feminine about Boss Babes and Demanding B-tches, or Wives who ridicule their spouse/partners. And the number of women who leave good men, to take 1/2 and enslave them with alimony... "because they are not HAPPY" is utterly insane.

    Lifes Hard. Wear a helmet!

Hey, from my perspective, no apology needed. Why? Because I often find myself thinking the same, EXACT thing. Fortunately, so far I haven't given in to the temptation to post such online, but that doesn't make me a saint.

One thing that helps me is to remember that we need plenty of these disgusting examples to point to when people ask why we think as we do. If they were gone.....?? Then who would we point to? Kind of like hoping they nominate Hunter, or Kamala, or Rosa of the purple hair and hate for president in 2028. That would make it so easy.... so they probably won't do that, but these are all examples of people I'd love to see never again.

Your post is a good reminder though. Go and "sin" no more, hahahaha!

This Spyridon Andrews, Yes this is good, I will look up his substack.

    Some comments:

Ranking colonial powers would surely put Britain, and the US, high on the list. A curious fact, or my opinion, near the bottom would be The Netherlands. Why?

Hong Kong. One of the great success stories, The British had the great good luck (or was it?) to find this odd chap, Cowperthwaite, for governor, who just let the population go ahead, which they did. Mind you, traditional Chinese cultural features of industriousness and low concern with political theory surely helped. Now, sadly, Hong Kong is subsumed into the morass of China.

India. Agree about cricket. Someone said that cricket when India and Pakistan teams play, reduces tension. That, or the opposite. Only cultures rich in carrying useless rituals over centuries could appreciate cricket.

The middle east. Andrews makes sensible comments.

    Andrews says:
The more important question is not who was here first. The more important question is who governs well. I submit that political legitimacy is derived from creating conditions in which human beings can flourish. Legitimacy is established through justice, the protection of liberty, the maintenance of order and safety, the safeguarding of property, the encouragement of opportunity, and the principle that rulers themselves are subject to law.

There is American writer James Michener whose Hawaii I read with delight when I started serious reading. Mitchener in The Source puts much the same theme, that legitimacy of ownership and control is demonstrated, not by being there first, but by using the land, the people and resources, well.
    (Re The Prodigal Son.).

    Ooh... That's the upgraded version.

Where the restrooms are on top of the dog...
And they let gravity decorate the wall...

I didn't think of that. I'd probably pay up to $20 to use that restroom!
