The real problem with The View is that they only talk about one subject. And The View is similar to the Iranian school system, teaching the kids to hate the Jews and hate Americans.

The good part about The View is that we know what they are thinging and what they beleive. If we didn't know we couldn't fight it.

I am so sorry for your mom. Of course she has every right to watch The View, but the garbage that is going into her mind is just too bad. I watch The Five. I can’t stand Jessica and her half truths. Then one day it dawned on me that I didn’t have to watch this idiot. So on the days that she is on I turn over to the Fox business channel and watch its news report. I am pleased to day that it has been a most liberating experience.

As far as The View is concerned, shutting them down by force ignores the basic reality that you can't fix stupid!

FWIW, they only eat local fruits, vegetables, that are in-season. They put their BABIES outside to sleep in the stroller, wrapped up (Alaska Winter Weather). Because the baby will "learn" to maintain their body warmth "unconsciously".

Hey, from my perspective, no apology needed. Why? Because I often find myself thinking the same, EXACT thing. Fortunately, so far I haven't given in to the temptation to post such online, but that doesn't make me a saint.

One thing that helps me is to remember that we need plenty of these disgusting examples to point to when people ask why we think as we do. If they were gone.....?? Then who would we point to? Kind of like hoping they nominate Hunter, or Kamala, or Rosa of the purple hair and hate for president in 2028. That would make it so easy.... so they probably won't do that, but these are all examples of people I'd love to see never again.

Some comments:

Ranking colonial powers would surely put Britain, and the US, high on the list. A curious fact, or my opinion, near the bottom would be The Netherlands. Why?

Hong Kong. One of the great success stories, The British had the great good luck (or was it?) to find this odd chap, Cowperthwaite, for governor, who just let the population go ahead, which they did. Mind you, traditional Chinese cultural features of industriousness and low concern with political theory surely helped. Now, sadly, Hong Kong is subsumed into the morass of China.

India. Agree about cricket. Someone said that cricket when India and Pakistan teams play, reduces tension. That, or the opposite. Only cultures rich in carrying useless rituals over centuries could appreciate cricket.
