Well, now we have it, ban all knives, since apparently knives kill. Just waiting for them to say it was a Trump supporter....

    So what? As an individual he a gang member and a felon with a long criminal record. At the time of the murders he was out on bail.

    I can't help but think if this knife killer had access to a gun he probably would have killed more people. Must be the local Alley gun salesman wanted too much $$ for the gun.

    Given the (self-proclaimed) integrity and consistency of progressives, I would expect them to condone knife attacks like this. I eagerly await any research to be published, but I'm pretty sure that knives have a much lower carbon footprint than firearms. Knives have to be the most responsible weapon of the environmentally conscious violent killer. Perhaps a new clause to that effect should be proposed for the Green New Deal.

    E.g. that gun control will not solve valence. In fact the crime rate is the highest in Cities with strict gun control.

    It is one of the favorite horses of the left, along with climate control.

    Of course everyone is fully aware of it but it does not deter them to find a scapegoat for problems they don't want or unable to solve.

    In what way? I am missing your point... I was referring to the huge outcry for gun control as the only answer, and am pointing out that you take guns away, there are knives, take knives away there are baseball bats, ban baseball and there are golf clubs....you see the point?
