TWITTER WILL QUARANTINE POLITICIANS’ TWEETS IF THEY VIOLATE RULES

"Twitter will rely on user reports and inquiries from journalists to identify tweets by government officials and politicians that may violate its rules, a spokesperson told WIRED. If a review by Twitter moderators determines a rule has been broken, the case will be passed along to a different group—which includes members of Twitter’s Trust and Safety, Legal, Public Policy, and regional teams—to determine if it is “in the public interest” for it to remain on the site."

They don't want to squelch Trump.....he is one of their largest source of protein uh....red meat. They wouldn't have anybody to beat up.
All they could do then is just verbally masturbate one another

I look at Gab now 'n' again. A lot of the posts are vile and offensive in one direction. Well that is how some people think. The same but opposite is on the big name media. The new center think that is ok but only because they are inured to it.

Definitely not. Twitter allows open recruiting and calls for violence by ISIS and Antifa terrorists. I'm surprised they haven't been prosecuted for it yet.

They're not the same thing. "Quarantine", at least on Reddit, simply means that messages from that group won't appear in searches or "most popular" listings and that you have to be logged in to go to the group.

I'm still hoping this will push Trump to dump Twitter and join Gab. Why continue to bring business to our enemies?

This will not end well for Twitter.

You could have lifted that from Mussolini’s government.

That means the rules will be set up to censor conservatives.

Looks like this is big social media's strategy to squelch Trump next election. But, if they push him to alternative platforms, those platforms will instantly explode and crush the current big players. They don't think these things through.

Some of us really are Analog while living in this digital world. I don't tweet, IM, Link-in of do Face Book. I also had Loran on my boat before GPS came into the light. Rules for this internet don't sound like a bad idea except who determines who gets to make the rules. Intentionally lying should be
standard severely punished. I just watched AOC lying through her teeth and she has a lot of those. Woman forced to drink from toilets is pure BS and she knows it. With 27 years as a prison supervisor I can tell you for certain the standard commode in a prison cell is a one piece unit that has a toilet attached to a sink on top and with a water fountain. They are usually a stainless steel fixture that is through bolted to the wall so the convicts cannot yank them out or even do much damage to them. The water on the top has no connection to the water in the toilet and she knows it. Sadly the flush button is not directly connected to CNN, NBC and CBS.

Interesting that they've changed the language. It used to be "shadow banning". Now it's "quarantine". Sounds nicer, doesn't it?

Will they grade/rate/judge libtard pols' tweets as harshly as they will those from conservatives? To quote Polly Holliday, "When donkeys fly", pun intended.

Laughing...I didn't even have a computer back then!
Did have Loran on the boat though, but still did all my course charting by hand.

Then do they not need to publish unambiguous rules to the public?...or are they afraid to because most would leave the platform.

It's been suggested by the guy that has developed the Internet bill of rights that we all abstain from engaging in social media, except for one post to display your displeasure with their behavior, on the 4th and 5th of July...this week.
I don't have an address but I will try to find it, it was mentioned on Tucker I think. Did a quick search and there is a lot of bull crap...even on Yahoo.

Not doing business with the digital giants will hurt more whether one posts one's displeasure of not, I would think.
