Hmmm I was actually planning to stop at the local walmart this weekend. There is not much I would buy there, but they have good prices on ammo. Looking at cheaper than dirt it looks like things are not as short and expensive as they were six months ago.

Why? Non-union or not, if they hire people who don’t speak english, they can’t fire them for that reason. I don’t shop at the local JC Penney’s store after a similar encounter. I’m a lifetime customer who hasn’t been in a JC Penny’s store in five years because know one knew enough english to help me with curtain purchases my last visit to the store.

Thanks for the laugh. There are people who believe that, even on this site. For those that have studied the first great depression we are at the same place, right before things dove again which I believe was 1936. IMHO, we got about a year to go until we fall farther than we have ever fallen before. I want to be wrong.

The same holds true for an independent store. If you don't like the service shop somewhere else. We all get the point eventually.

Difficult or impossible? If the effective date for Obamacre rules are changed over and over how do you account for that? I have hesitated to replace an employee because of Obamacare and yet it has been delayed how many times? On a national scale it is hard to measure how disruptive this is.

I just love this place. I should have never left. But Obama's fascism stopped me for a couple of years.
I am back with a vengeance now, though.

I feel that is part of the reason behind socialized medicine. If the government is paying for healthcare that means we are all paying for healthcare. They can now dictate what we eat, if we exercise and a host of other things.

That is another problem Carol. With the government changing the rules all the time it is next to impossible to prepare and project costs.

My recent decision to stop shopping at Walmart had nothing to do with my wallet. I don’t shop Walmart anymore in my area. They have hired mostly non-speaking employees and it’s to difficult to get any navigation help within the store. I had to search the store for the fifth worker, when the first four were of no help in pointing me in the right direction. That’s too frustrating and time consuming for a trip to one of their super-stores.

That is so true. When I go to Walmart, they are usually out of half the things I need. So if their shelves are staying stocked, that is bad. I mean, who can't afford to go to Walmart?

It is all part of the plan, to bring America down. Just wait another two years under Obama; I wonder how bad it will get?

I'll say, WalMart tries to be as lean as possible on inventory. If their stock inventory is rising, that is a very bad sign. And ripples out widely too

Particularly if this is in the build-up for back to school. As such, it is one of the big buying periods of the year (somewhere I saw that the avg family spend nearly $700 on back to school goods - not sure who's spending that much, as we never did).
