Doesn't this just mean that good companies won't do business with the feds?

Not at all. The union leaders will merely become "Cuffy Meigs" and the workers will be good little automatons.

Ignoring higher govt. cost? I LOVE higher govt. costs. The more expensive to maintain that leviathan becomes the sooner it will have to start shrinking. Private contractors which work for government are exactly the tax consumers I meant to describe. And yes, I agree it is indeed disgusting. LOL

Hope he gets far enough down this road that he eliminates the possibility of the next socialist from getting elected, like Dubbya, did for conservatives.

Does anyone know if any president has considered striking all prior executive orders and clearing up the big mud pie that exists there?

The real intent of this ExecOrd is found in this phrase: "The order also bans using perfectly legal arbitration agreements," which makes this a sop to the trial lawyers.

You're ignoring many things; e.g. much higher govt. costs, private contractors affected as well, immoral over-reach. This is disgusting!

Nothing like a little "fair play and brother-love" from ol' Potus... Of course, the "2" of the "one-two" punch is that as more and more comes under control of the dotgov, fewer and fewer businesses will be able to do business, and either come under the control of the dotgov or be forced out...

...and Stalin nods warmly in approval of this scheme...

There is, for me at least, a good news side to these types of escalations. In my view, a government "contractor" is just another tax consumer feeding at the trough. If fascism is defined as the systemic collusion between business owners and politicians, then every government contractor is a fascist in fact. The more onerous and risky such tax consumption becomes the less appealing will it be. More and more of us will in this way come to understand the folly of "working" with and for sociopaths.

This may well be the most far reaching and egregious executive order of Obama.

I've been the target of the NLRB under similar fraudulent allegations and it's not fun, even without this order.

When the State finally gets control, are the unions going to find themselves in a figurative "Night of the Long Knives"?
