I do have a song called "Save Me From The Talibani" which I wrote while in Afghanistan. It's basically a joke about the strictness of the Taliban. However, I actually talked to a taliban chief and he understood the song to mean that Americans were afraid of the Taliban. I have been told that they plan to play it the day American troops pull out. I never figured that the song would be interpreted that way. It just goes to show you different cultural perception. Thanks again for listening. I'm working on some additional ones now and orchestrating some of the existing songs. All posted were basically 1st takes with the exception of "Let The Government Dance Begin" which is about NSA and other agencies' spying and loss of personal freedom.Permalink|
