49,492 Deaths and Rising - Death Toll Mounts With FDA Denial Of HCQ For Outpatient COVID Therapy

"The FDA denied August 10 the urgent request for emergency approval for COVID-19 outpatient preventive and early treatment use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) filed July 1 by Dr. John McKinnon’s team at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, supported by Dr. Peter McCullough’s cardiology team at Baylor Heart and Vascular Institute in Dallas.

Approximately 48,000 more Americans have died during the FDA’s 48-day delay since this Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) was requested on July 1. Dr. McKinnon’s clinical trial found an impressive 51% reduction in deaths if HCQ was begun within 24 hours of admission to hospital.

An outpatient primary care study by Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, using HCQ, azithromycin and zinc given within less than 7 days of COVID-19 symptoms, showed approximately 80% decrease in deaths, and less than 1% of his patients needed to be admitted to hospital. These extraordinary results show how many lives can be saved with early HCQ treatment.

Dr. Harvey Risch, Yale epidemiologist, projected that widespread early treatment for COVID-19 with the already FDA-approved HCQ could have saved 100,000 American lives.

The physician head of the FDA, Dr. Steven Hahn, has again betrayed physicians and patients by preventing Americans from having the “right to try” HCQ for early COVID-19 treatment. Dr. Hahn knows full well the FDA approved HCQ as safe in 1955, and it has been used in millions of patients worldwide for 65 years with an impressive track record of safety in patients of all ages, all ethnic groups, and even pregnant women and nursing mothers."

Right, I get that, but I am not sure he's willing to lie on his diagnosis. My ire is mostly aimed toward the pharmacies which have no business doing this! But thank you for the suggestion!

You should be able to get it filled at any pharmacy, if you have him also prescribe an appropriate OTC NSAID.... which together are common approved treatments for your.... lupus....

It mystifies me that they are even allowing thousands of their OWN to die to achieve this end! Seriously! What are they thinking?

My husband's doctor has said he would prescribe HCQ if/when he will arrange for a Zoom interview, to explain the downsides and contraindications. I expect that the interview to happen fairly soon. (The doctor is well-acquainted with my husband and his various health specifics, so it's not just a doc-in-the-box type thing.)

The only thing left is to find someone to fill the prescription. So far, all I am seeing is online sources, which otherwise would be OK but how do I know what they are sending? It's literally unconscionable that a pharmacy would refuse to fill an otherwise reasonable prescription (thus, facilitating many thousands of deaths) just to thwart a sitting President, which is what it boils down to.

My preference is to have anyone speak their mind and heart when for the good of all not just a few instead of a president standing in front of cameras with a snicker on his face, avoiding answers, and when answering one questions takes 45 minutes then to leave the podium.

I agree, Thor. I didn't vote for Trump (or for Hitlery) but I did think Trump won and deserved the same respect as other presidents. Which meant that the previous presidents were given a chance to make the case for the programs they wanted to start or end. Every previous president was given that chance by the opposition party - without exception regardless of differences of ideology.
Trump was opposed by both parties before and after his election. Democrats have illegally tried to remove him from office ever since he was elected. Republicans opposed Trump's programs when they had a majority in both houses for 2 years, even though they knew Trump's supporters wanted those programs, specifically the Wall and repeal of Obamacare.
Now we have Democrats allowing thousands to die from a virus because they want to stop Trump's re-election.

We also have George Soros paying people to betray their country and to promote a new Nazi Kristallnacht against innocent people in cities across America. Democrat authorities in those places have encouraged those paid criminals to loot, burn, and murder those who are innocent.

If I had the power I'd declare Soros a terrorist and enemy combatant and send a drone to execute him.

The last is the fundamental reason for fear mongering.

This president communicates like a child, and does not behave very presidential. However, no president has ever faced this level of undermining and resistance from the government itself and the media. From the drummed-up, fraudulent Mueller investigation to this COVID crap. Bias and fraud are an all time high.

Many of you guys are older than me, but I recall from experience or history, nothing like this, short of a totalitarian revolution.

If the left really wanted to help the unemployed, they would open everything up again, and make sure everyone has a prescription of HCQ to stop the virus before it spreads.

But that wouldn't suit the Trump haters or big pharma - who corrupts the con-gress by paying to get them elected over grass-roots candidates who aren't lifetime looters.

Cheap, simple solution is never what government wants. If the so-called experts had listened to Trump instead of shutting down there'd be 20 million more employed and $3 trillion saved. And 100,000 less dead from the virus.
And a Trump and GOP landslide in November.

It can't be allowed. Trump said it worked; therefore, it must be bad.

Good things can not be allowed to happen until after the election if Biden wins.

    Dob-
This is a warning seen often on the medication info sheets.
I did a search on this. I found only one paper!
One patient with psoriasis was given HCQ in a hospital (or clinic) and was monitored. This one patient was a middle aged woman. No change in the psoriasis condition was observed.
    I have deleted the link.
I'd be curious if you come up with anything.

    The other issues are-
    - heart rhythm irregularity, yes a possibility, a very small number of people (about 1%) are at risk here.
    - Iris damage. Yes, this condition has been observed in some long term (five year) HCQ users. Long term HCQ users should have a special color vision test every six months.

Yup . The only issue that I am aware of is HCQ is problematic for people with psoriasis. I have psoriasis.
