It was the first thing that popped into my mind when I first heard about vaccine passports.
That's exactly what I'm going to say to anyone suggesting the vaccine to me.

I think maybe a number tattooed on your arm? It seemed to work before to ID who's been accounted for. 3 numbers for 1st shot and 3 more for 2nd dose (for J&J vaccine, you get the full 6 right away). Had a shot record while in the military, don't remember ever being asked to show it in 20+ years in the service.

Unless you're an unhealthy person over 70, COVID is rarely dangerous. It's just been overhyped as such. In reality, only about 3% of the reported deaths "due to COVID" would have been described as such if the CDC hadn't changed the reporting rules.

We have been lied to so blatantly and often that we distrust everything. I was just thinking that in 1973 I was sent to Spain by my company to work with an affiliate in Barcelona. I was there a little over a month and it was a great experience for a young engineer/MBA that was born and raised in the a coalmine town in southern West Virginia. In order to travel to Franco's Spain, I needed a smallpox vaccination, a tetanus shot and a cholera shot to go along with my passport and a visa. I never questioned it. I went to the office of the company nurse and rolled up my sleeve and went about the activities for the passport and visa. While the worldwide danger of the diseases in question were diminishing at the time, there was still a danger and through broad immunizations the dangers today are minimal. What is different? Lies, lying governments, lying doctors, health officials and media have eroded all belief by the public expecting a dirty trick behind every utterance. This puts us in great peril.

I think fear makes people malleable. For decades American society via the school systems have been condition to defer action to authorities to avoid litigation (my post about the Bully box years ago is a perfect example). Rather than trust themselves and risk punishment they look to others, police, politicians, the principal, and endure whatever assault they7 are under. Why? Fear,

As dangerous as covid can be in specific instances, it's not the monster presented to us by the people and agencies who were supposed to be in the know. Logic dictates if the plague wasn't the real threat there must have been another purpose to inflict mass hysteria and reshape society here and abroad, making us and them in this one aspect quite similar. A mark such as this can be used to facilitate many things, using the ability to buy, sell and trade as leverage to comply to whatever the "governor" wishes.
I find the accracy of what was written centuries ago, at a time when anything remotely like this wasn't even conceivable, even regionally, to be compelling.

So in NY you must either have the vaccine or proof of a negative Covid test. I don't think that's anyone's business. This is intrusive. We don't have proof someone doesn't have TB and if you walk past someone with TB who is coughing you will be exposed to it.
