Though surrounded my a fence topped by razor wire and protected by Capitol Police reinforced by an armed National Guard, on March 4 Pelosi had her House of Representatives take the day off because some fearsome and mighty "armed insurrection" of Trump supporters were supposed to come and "get" them.
Nobody came. Birds were singing during a beautiful day. Last night on Tucker Carlson a reporter talked to some Guardsmen.
"Have you seen anyone at all?" the reporter asked.
"Nope."
That pretty much summed up that interview.
By the way, the Senate did not go home to hide. Maybe that's because Nutty Nancy doesn't run that side of the building.
