As ANC is Mandela's adopted "Rainbow" child, anything that reflects poorly on ANC reflects poorly on Mandela. Current S. African events, the collapse into nation-wide thuggery and destruction largely aimed at white and east Indian minorities on a purely racial basis, can't be revealed as the left's unspoken, acquiescent narrative or agenda, so its existence, like the rise of Trump's populist nationalism in the US, can't be granted any honest recognition or consideration.

BBC had a brief televised report on the S. African situation last night, but the racist nature of the violence and looting was obfuscated. There has been absolutely no accounting for exactly who the dead are and how they died.
