You say you didn't want to have further conversation, so just STOP. Your best bet is to ignore the comment. If you get into a back-an-forth argument, it never ends.

If you don't want further conversation with someone -- don't say anything further. Do not request the ability to censor your fellow man.

You can mark the comment down, as has been done to your comment. But I don't even like to do that. I've probably marked two comments down in the last few years -- both for being abusive insult.

Oh, dear, I'll start the apologies. When I respond to a Post, most of the time I don't even notice who is posting. Sometimes I don't put my brain in gear before I do it. I hope I'm not the one who hurt you. Welcome to the Gulch.

By the way i listened to quite a bit of his comments on my post. He and I just do not see things the same way. I came here to have a good exchange of thoughts and learn from each other. I do not want to have fights because someone cant honor a request.

No and that is not the question to ask. i was polite with someone who I did not want further conversation with. So I asked him to no longer comment on MY post. he is refusing. So I am trying to find out if I can block him since he will not. I do not comment on his post and I know he would not like it if I did especially If he asked me to not to comment on his posts. Being good citizens of Galt's Gulch would seem to be a good community standard. Don't you think? Or is this a screw you community I will do what I darn well please, like it or not??
