    Yup, a repeated lack of education cycle. Always a "reset".
    Bynner: Tao #18

    When people lost sight of the way to live
    Came codes of love and honesty,
    Learning came, charity came,
    Hypocrisy took charge;
    When differences weakened family ties
    Came benevolent fathers and dutiful sons;
    And when lands were disrupted and misgoverned
    Came ministers commended as loyal.

    “That the dog returns to his vomit and the sow returns to its mire , and the burnt fools bandaged finger goes wobbling back to the fire. “
    Or “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results“ attributed to A.E.

    What ? The great reset? The specific topic I brought up several years ago and was told I was a conspiracy theorist. Yup its true I am. A theory is taking facts and evidence with a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.
    A conspiracy is simply more than a couple of folks working together. What is amazing is that the CI A
    asswipes were able to brainwash the sheeple into poo pooing any talk about people working together to shove a red hot poker right up liberty and freedoms asshole. It’s like hearing 4-5 lies and still trusting the liar. Let’s go Brandon , let’s go Deletes.

    "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

    John Adams"

    While this Adams quote wasn't intended toward capitalism I think it applies nearly equally. Without integrity, focus and self restraint capitalism can be misused and abused. When the ends justifies the means, measures by any means, there is a degree of moral bankruptcy. When regulation is needed to reign in abuse you are merely trading in one miscreant or one group of. miscreants for another and government is almost always far worse.

    I was crippled in my youth by an inquisitive mind that could never rest without knowing what was inside the box. I took my grandfather's watch apart and tried to fix it after I had magnetized it. I had been told that the magnet my uncle gave me from his specialty steel company would do that but I had to see for myself. Most 5 year-olds don't have the right tools to work to work on watches so I made a mess. My grandfather was a blacksmith, 6-10 and most people thought he was a mean man but he was more interested in knowing what I learned about magnetism and watches than all my crying because I broke his watch. When I got out of college I was more interested in making things than money. I got the opportunity to design electronic controls for a company building industrial plants around the world and since this was 1964, solid state electronics was relatively new and not everyone understood how they worked and since there was nothing to see, the little switches were silent, fast and mysterious. This left me to pretty much do whatever I wanted in my designs and I was not adverse to trying new things. The reset button was my friend of last resort. When you absolutely had to start over, it was there but you lost a lot of information about what had happened, good and bad, before you crashed. We have arrived where we are by many trials and errors. Our successes and our failures have been caused by forces of nature. Understanding these forces and using them to our benefit is a tedious and difficult path but it is the only path that does not lead to a dead end. Lazy fools that want to use the reset button as a kneejerk reaction to every stumble will keep wasting our history until we don't have any.

    The Gods of the Copybook Headings
    Rudyard Kipling (1919)
    As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,
    I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
    Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
    And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

    We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
    That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
    But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
    So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

    We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
    Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
    But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
    That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

    With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
    They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
    They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
    So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

    When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
    They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
    But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
    And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

    On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
    (Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
    Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
    And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

    In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
    By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
    But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
    And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

    Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
    And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
    That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
    And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

    As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
    There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
    That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
    And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

    And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
    When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
    As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
    The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

    What makes you think they are bought? Why can't they just be ardent ideological supporters of globalism?

    While there are some weaknesses to capitalism, these elitist looters are pure evil, imo.

    It appears to be more expansive than just one party. This is more global. Both the d's and r's are bought out, which explains much.
