De-Fund and Close the FBI, DEA, and BATF!

Excerpt:
"Federal agencies paid out at least $548 million to informants working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), in recent years, according to government audits.

A few informants became millionaires, with some Amtrak and “parcel” delivery workers making nearly $1 million or more.
Many informants were authorized to commit “crimes” with the permission of their federal handlers. In a four-year period, there were 22,800 crime authorizations (2011-2014).
The FBI paid approximately $294 million (FY2012-2018), the DEA paid at least $237 million (FY2011-2015), and ATF paid approximately $17.2 million total (FY2012-2015) to informants.
Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com compiled this information by reviewing federal reports. While some of the data is several-years old; it’s apparently the most recent available."

Ronald Reagan set an example of how to deal with a union.

If con-gress (House and Senate) is of the same party and mind as Trump various bureaucracies can be financially strangled to bring them in line.

    But then I'm only dreaming.

I have this wish for Trump to get re-elected and then spend four years pounding the unelected bureaucracy into dust. That alone would bring freedom to millions of Americans. They fear him in a way that's good for us.

It makes you less interested in telling anyone anything. Once your information is released, it can never be retracted and may give some bureaucrat a way to attack you.

America is no longer governed by responsible servants, but by obscenely corrupt bureaucrats with less moral fiber than the government toadies of the Ottoman Empire. Even if we get elections under control and get better elected officials, the unelected bureaucracy will continue to work hard to keep their immoral operations going. The system needs a wholesale flushing.

Another, more innocent, but no less abusive of the taxpayer is the "selective amnesia" that government procurement agents develop. They seem to forget where their budgets come from, and throw money at a problem before they really study it to see if another way to fix a problem exists.

When I was in charge of developing satellite ground stations for an Air Force space program, the biggest sin one of my people (civilian or military) could commit was to use the phrase "our money" where I could hear it. I had no compunction of dressing down people who used that phrase publicly, reminding them that we were spending taxpayer money, and had a responsibility to stretch those dollars until they screamed, rather than spend more.

On the other hand, if they can steal it, they think it''s alright. I never could figure out that mindset.

Well, here's the attitude FFA. When I was a member of the City Council, the guys (I was the only lady - the first lady in 100 years, to be elected to that August body) felt tax money wasn't real money. So they threw it around and the only way they knew to raise money was to tax the citizens. I enlightened them for three years, then I got the hell out of Dodge. I raised 8 million by getting a grant to repair the sewer system and $15 million to repair streets by taking it out of a portion of sales tax money that the citizens were already paying - no increase.

    UTTERLY CORRUPT

"January 6th Capitol Riot Had At Least Two Embedded FBI Informants

In September, the New York Times reported a bit of a bombshell: at least two informants
embedded with the U.S. Capitol crowd were in close contact with their FBI handlers on January 6th.

As reporter Julie Kelly at American Greatness details it, an “informant, according to
‘confidential documents’ furnished to the paper, started working with the FBI in July 2020
and was in close contact with his FBI handler before, during, and after the Capitol protest.”

In recent Congressional testimony, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) played a video montage
of a man encouraging election protestors to go into the Capitol on January 6th.
Rep. Massie asked Attorney General Merrick Garland if the man was an FBI agent-provocateur.

Garland refused to comment on an ongoing investigation. Many suspect the man was working
with federal authorities before, during, and after the events of January 6th at the U.S. Capitol
Building. He, apparently, has not been arrested or charged."
