$22,500 for a Battery? Tesla Owner Decides to Blow Up His Tesla Instead.

A Finnish man who was shocked by the cost of a battery replacement for his Tesla Model S decided that blowing up his electric car with an Elon Musk dummy inside would be a more suitable solution.
The owner said that he lost his faith in Musk’s company after he was told to pay 20,000 euros (around $22,500) for a new battery for his car.

    Do you really think that members of the GOP can be trusted to act for the People as public servants?
    Other than the Pauls (and Trump who I do not consider as a GOP member) who of the GOP has been a defender of the Constitution, a defender of free markets and individual liberty?

    The Contract for America was disinformation. A speed bump in the road to big government that distracted people from what really needed to be done.

    The 'budget surplus' did not exist. It was faked by including the increased social security taxes that should have been set aside for future payments. It was a fraud.

    I want similar things to you, but the GOP will never deliver them. They are as dishonest and unethical as the Dems.

    We are going to win the mid terms. That's a start. I'd like to see some budget discipline then like there was with the Contract for America. We actually were running a budget surplus a couple of years. I figure I have about 20-30 years left and I have no kids. I still want to leave an America that is great for the next generation. One where people learn the value of work and not the lifestyle of the handout the Dems like to embrace. Maybe I'm just an idealist.

    No worries. ;^) Way out of my price range though. I'd take 60+ years to recover the price in fuel savings.
    ( I don't drive a lot of miles ;^)
    Of course, if Buy-dem stays in office much longer the price of fuel
    could get higher - and the entire economy could crater making driving an unnecessary luxury.
    The US might look like China did 20 years ago - a nation of cyclists.
    Only party members might have cars and enough food to prevent starvation.
    Hopefully someone will act to prevent such a future.

    Per Hyundai's website: 29 mile range on full battery (assuming you don't try to carry anything heavy and don't use the a/c or heat.)
    If you need to go farther than 14 miles away you'll still be buying gas at insane Commiefornia prices.

    I'll be buying a Hyundai Ionic next year (hopefully). I can charge it at home with my solar panels and not pay $4.80 a gallon for gas (here in CA). Looking forward to being more self sufficient.
