Omen From Atlas Shrugged At Denver International Airport

I'm inspired by pirate's post in the producer's lounge regarding Eddie Willers to post this. An omen or what?
"...He stood still and, in the enormous silence, he heard the rustle of tumbleweeds stirring in the darkness, like the chuckle of an invisible army made free to move when the Comet was not. He heard a sharper rustle close by—and he saw the small gray shape of a rabbit rise on its haunches to sniff at the steps of a car of the Taggart Comet. With a jolt of murderous fury, he lunged in the direction of the rabbit, as if he could defeat the advance of the enemy in the person of that tiny gray form. The rabbit darted off into the darkness—but he knew that the advance was not to be defeated." AS III ch 10

I just saw this, and it's one of the funniest, and unfortunately, the most true statement about the envirobots I've seen written. That old tank could be leaking oil all over the place, but hey, it's ok, you must be on the govt teat, so kudos!

Old cars (like old washers and dryers) are the way to go...they last forever because they were built back when things were made to last. Less insurance and registration costs and they don't need emissions testing either (if they're old enough). Which makes ZERO sense if you think like a green liberal..then again they assume if you're driving a car that old then you can't afford emissions testing and they don't want to burden the poor...only those who will actually cough it up somehow. (Punish the productive who will obey the law.) If you're poor and pollute it's perfectly okay. The environment can tell the difference...poor pollution is less detrimental to the planet than rich pollution. It's a scientific fact....and Al Gore is a living example of this practice.

I found that article in a forum where this woman talked about how her NEW car wouldn't start due to the rodent thing, but her husband had an old lincoln that had been sitting in the grass for two years and started right up. lol

So our cars will either start on fire, explode, get eaten by wild animals, or break apart.....In the name of being green. That is truly fuched up! Why are we trying to reinvent the wheel.....and fixing things that aren't broken? UGH
