My New Favorite Language Manipulation
I wanted to keep this light; there are far too many bastardizations of the English language to list, and a huge number of them are somber or serious in nature. I wanted to share one I just saw that made me laugh.
I keep thinking back to jokes I heard when I was a kid (and that was a long time ago) when someone took a swan dive off a very high building and, well, he didn’t live to tell us about his experience. I remember two possible causes of death that the coroner could list: “Concrete Poisoning” and “Sudden Deceleration Trauma”.
Then this shows up foxnews.com a few minutes ago:
SpaceX's Starship — the biggest and most powerful rocket ever built — blasted off from the southern tip of Texas on Thursday morning.
However, just minutes later and awaiting stage separation, it experienced a failure — what SpaceX livestream hosts described as a "rapid unscheduled disassembly."
“Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly”?
Still laughing...
